Broken Oddments Tray Hinge
First, I recommend that you try and get your dealer to do this under warranty. This was a known problem and most dealers will still replace the hinge for free. If not, here is a link to the TSB with instructions and part numbers to repair a broken hinge (about 44k PDF file). Oddment Tray Cover (hinge repair)

It's part of the hardtop kit (2 per car). I think it hides the area around the pop-up rollbars when you have the hardtop in place.
Don may have more info (I don't have a cab).

Yes, BS 16/2 (position 11 relay support 1) goes to fuse F5 and is power.
And yes, BS 11 (position 28 relay support 1) goes to fuse F5 and is ground.
Not that it uses a lot of power (I doubt it does) but they are seeing the the power is distributed so you don't blow a fuse. ;)

To my knowledge all (real) GT3's had 3 radiators... it was not an option.
My Carrera with factory aerokit had the GT3 bumper with the plug.

I'll cross my fingers for you.
It could be that they have changed the bumper part number in the kit but all the kit lists I have show a different number.

Yes. That's why I am concerned that you might not have the right bumper. The headlight openings and fender opening are different on the later cars. Can you verify with the company you bought from that you got the right bumper?

I don't know of a way to extend the steering column. An aftermarket wheel with a new hub might bring it out a little further but most of the wheels give up the airbag.
Have you thought about different seat options? Like GT3 seats and a tall man bracket from Brey-Krause?
BTW... I've already asked for a tall man bracket for standard seats and B-K doesn't make one (and doesn't plan to).

The part number Patrick said he got is: 996 505 983 01
The part number shown in my (-MY02) parts list is: 996 505 980 02 G2X and installation TSB is: 996 505 980 00 G2X. The parts list is newer so I would believe it.
The part number for MY02 and newer Aerokit II front bumper is: 996 505 983 02 G2X
Hmm... I wonder if Patrick has the right bumper? MY02 bumpers will not work on MY01 and earlier cars.

1. Even in America parking brake and handbrake are the same (it's just that some American cars parking brake is foot actuated). So handbrake (on the console) is what I am speaking of.
2. The Carrera does not use a relay for the top. It has a top controller box (see item 4 in the first post). So I think you would need to cut this wire and connect it to ground (controller side) to see if Jeff's trick will work. I still think this would need to be only when operating the top or the parking brake light would be on all the time (?)
3. The Grey/Pink wire is the speed sensing wire and the Brown/Yellow wire is the handbrake sensing wire.
This are two different operations here.
1. Disconnecting the Grey/Pink wire should allow you to open the top while moving IF the handbrake is pulled on to the first click.
2. We are theorizing that disconnecting and bring the handbrake wire to ground will have the same effect as pulling the parking brake to the first click.

A number of folks with the same leg room issues have gone with the GT3 console delete. You lose a little storage room with this but gain leg/knee room. I think these are about $100. Some pics from Carnewal.com and Suncoast Porsche (Carnewal also has a leather trim portion for another $40)

The line in the pic directly above (with the arrow ?) inside the bumper (not the drawn line). My bumper had the same line but with addititional tabs. As I said the rubber insert needs to fit over that lip on the cut bumper.

Hmmm... very strange considering the right rear line is the longest line in the car. Any chance it was fluid from the previous bleed (before the super blue)? Also, you did open both bleed valves at each wheel (total of eight)?

The passenger sill is easy. Just remove the rubber mat and the two screws underneath. The just pry it out with your plastic spatula.
The driver side has three plastic plugs on the seat side of the sill that need to be removed to get to the hex bolts (you may need to push the carpet down a little to get to them). Once these are out carefully lift and disconnect the electrical and hood release cables.

If you cut on the line inside the bumper cover, I think that would be best. The black rubber piece in your radiator kit fits up and around the bumper opening. You plug does look like mine -- just without the tabs.

Two things come to mind...
1. Castrol SRF is synthetic and doesn't mix well so it is good you took out as much of the old as possible. But it would surprise me if you saw more blue later (like from the ABS).
2. What order did you bleed in? For Carrera's it's: Right rear, Left rear, Right front, Left front. Isn't the TT the same?

Well, I am not a physicist but the downforce on a car front to rear always must be proportioned. Otherwise, adding more downforce in one area (i.e. front) will cause the rear to lift sooner -- rather than later. If you increase the downforce on one end of the car you need to do something at the other end also. Most folks agree that downforce just starts to work at 60 MPH but by 100 MPH it become very important. In the past Porsche published the effects of their wings and spoilers so you could play matching games... but now it seems for legal reasons (or ??) they don't. So you have to guess how difference a GT3 front spoiler is from the standard on.
IMHO... of course.
