Wonder if you could help me!  We just bought this 2002 Boxter and the radio is locked.  When we asked the guy we bought it from he had no idea what the code is.
There are some lights out in the display so the best I have is that it’s a CR22.

I need to get my Cdr23 CD multichanger enabled. Did you have any luck getting it done?

Did you connect the correct fiber optic cable?

They are different depending on whether you have the amp or not.

After all the cables are connected you will need a PIWIS (or Durametric) to adopt the CDR-3 to your car.

  3. Engine M 96/03

    General
The engine for the 911 Carrera in model year 2002 is a further development of the previous engine.

During the development of this engine, particular attention was directed at reducing fuel
consumption while simultaneously increasing engine performance and torque.

    Summary of modifications:
    - Crankshaft - bearings and stroke
    - Crankcase
    - Pistons with Graphal coating
    - Valve gear
    - Cylinder head
    - Valve stroke control on intake side with axial variable camshaft timing (VarioCam Plus)

Any thoughts on my  2003 996 car key remote feature not working? I replaced the battery which made no difference.

Thank you for any considerations you may offer.

10 year old car - is the button worn so much it does not "click" anymore?

If so, then the contact of the button to the circuit board is worn out.

The simplest fix in to by a new key remote and transfer your physical key AND your transponder pill to the new remote.

Porsche sells a nice design key for that purpose and it requires no programming if you transfer the physical key and transponder.

    Hi!

    Continuing this old thread with a new problem;

I`ve got a 996 manual my2000 that is being under built. It is originally 3.4l and has had a DME 99661860400 which is now broken and I don`t think it can be fixed anymore.

Well I`m swapping the engine now to m96.04 3.6l MY2001. My question is do I need an DME 99661860500 and will it be able to function in this body?

Also the original key of the car is missing so I`ll be having some immobilizer issues in any case once I get all the parts needed.....

Hope someone could give me some information for this situation!

Yes, you will need the DME for a 3.6 as the varicams are different. You will need a PIWIS to re-program it to your car. Likewise with the keys/immobilizer they will likely need to be re-programmed also.

I am trying to change my retractable, spoiler deck lid to a fixed wing spoiler  deck lid. I purchased a Porsche wiring harness 996.612.070.04 to connect up the new spoiler. Unfortunately, I do not know where to connect the other end of the wiring harness.

Does anybody know where the other end of the wiring harness is located?

The connector should be on the right fender in the engine compartment.

I've owned my 2006 S for about 1.5 years. The whole time I've owned it, the overhead interior lights haven't worked. The footwell lights, door lights and the lights in the ceiling of the rear hatch area all work fine. I pulled up the wiring diagrams and checked all the fuses shown. All were good. I decided to check the rest of them and found a 5 amp fuse blown in position 27 of the LH interior fuse block. I replaced it and all the interior lights work as they should. Every fuse diagram I've found shows position 27 "not used". There are 2 contacts in that position, so it's definitely an active spot. The fuse diagrams for the 2006 on Alldata, are labeled as 2004. The diagrams I've found online are rather generic and identified as 2003-2010, or something similar.

Is there a factory wiring diagram specifically for the 2006 Cayenne S?

    I sent you a PM.
