Thank you but 2109 didn’t work

    any other thoughts?

Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ?

If not, then your radio may have been repaired and the serial number changed (electronically.

If you did use the procedure and the code I gave you does not work then it is likely that the radio was repaired by someone other than Becker - in that case I can not help you.

    1998 Porsche Boxster

Bought car a year ago and haven’t been able to get the radio working since because of this radio code issue. We have tried 1209 based on what one service tech told us but it doesn’t work. Hoping you can help! Thanks!

    becker

    cr210

    serial number: V5007001

    Try 2109

    Possible fault causes
    - Dynamic driving style when oil level is near minimum (oil foaming)
    - Solenoid hydraulic valve faulty
=> (e.g. mechanical fault or dirt in the oil circuit)
    - Oil pressure too low
=> (e.g. due to oil dilution, oil thickening, wrong oil quality, fault in oil pressure control or oil pump)
    - Intake camshaft adjuster faulty
    - Camshaft stuck (incorrect or faulty installation)

Didn’t seem to work - started flashing the first digit again after entering

Is that the serial number as displayed on the unit or the serial tag on the top or back?

The serial tag may not be correct if the unit has ever been repaired - even by Becker.

If a third party ever repaired they didn't reset serial number properly - if that is the case I can't help you.
