  1. Hello; I had 3 pieces of MAF for 996 3.4Liter Porsche's. I can list one of it on Ebay if you want.
  2. Actually; I have a brand new key; never programmed and used before with tags and barcode.
  3. Hello Richard; Yes I asked; but unfortunately; they were not aware what I was talking about :( The proposal was just to buy a new control unit with thousands of dollars :(
  4. Hello Richard and Loren; I've found an used alarm control unit; Which was belong to same model/year/part no of my car. M534 - 996 618 260 04 Do you think a dealer can reprogram this alarm module to work with my car? Or does it must be a new control unit?
  5. I'm gonna dealer today and ask what can I do... In addition; I found some immo-ecu sets on internet; Keys + alarm unit m535 + ecu. But m535 is for US and uses Miles; mine is M534 and uses Kilometers. And second; my car's MY is 1998; But this car started to be sold in US with MY 1999. Do you think that I can use m535 instead of m534?
  6. Hello Loren; Thank you for your reply; EEPROM is still working; reading and writing; but it has been deleted, so it is empty. Do you think a dealer can reprogram the key?
  7. Hello All; Because of Battery fault; The Alarm Module EEPROM is erased/wiped. Eeprom is 93LC66 Now; my car does not work Is there any way to fix this; or to disable Immobilizer? Please help; any kind of supports will be appreciated;
  8. it seems to me a noise of one of the tensioning roller or second possiblity , it may come from the generator
  9. First of all; thanks to "TabooPc" for the idea...(From another forum...) My car is 1998 Carrera2... Instead of his cluster; mine is older and has previous technology I guess. My inst. cluster is feeding with Halogen Bulb instead of his gauge. So when I changed these bulbs; it was completed. (Because of his post; I bought 100 pcs of leds ) As an extra; I changed all the switches and the others led's from Amber to White. Conclusion is very good for me; total 36 hours of works. (I removed the gauges, speed, rpm, fuel etc; then I missed to put sign so I spent 4-5 hours to fix them ) Here is pics; if you need info; you can ask me... Old Style original amber.... Final result...
  10. here is Cruise Control Bulb; it is 1.5 watts (white dip) black dips are 1.2 watts
  11. Ok; there is a misunderstanding between us, so no problem at all... You can be sure; I am a grateful person...Good luck.
  12. You have some mindset problem I think. First; Without getting any information or support; why should I be a contributing member? Forum's are on the internet to share knowledge and information and help each member of course for FREE. Otherwise it is stupid. Then you can go to a dealer and pay money to them to ask something... If it is just about MONEY in your mind; you have to do sign up with PAYMENT like MHHAUTO forums Then without getting money; you will not let anyone to be a member. I don't want to such expensive books just some small info requests. If no one writes any answer (although a kind person not like you; answered already...) there are several forums on internet. Actually; you seem very funny person; we need these kinds of persons on Earth ahaa Hello Ahsai,I see of course there should be a donations to keep these kind of sites... But, it is weird to be written in my first post, then it's shape is changing to another way. If, I was being using this site for a while, got lots if support and not give any donation, then yes, it is true. But it should not be in the first posts... Thank you so much for your support, I will look deeply to these posts...
  13. JuncoJones; thank you very much for your support without interrogating me like the others. In my country; Liqui Moly oils are not selling by the distributors. Only additives. And yes; as you mentioned above; I will continue with my previous Motul X-Cess 5W-40; I was happy with that oil not like the Mobil1 I already bought that book; I couldn't read all of the book yet; But I think it includes more mechanical explanations than Durametric things etc. I will try to change all the fuses as your suggestion. Thank you again. Good luck...

  15. Hello All; I have bought a 996 Carrera MY 1998 @ 98.000km (54.000 Miles) wih Tiptronic - 3.4 Liter I have some issues with my car; I hope someone can help with me in this forum. Because; in my hometown; there are not much Porsche private services, and the current services are not much qualified with these kind of issues. They are expert just for standard servicing operations :( Only 1 authorized service in this place; but the prices 3 or 4 times higher than your countries :( My car's engine renewed @ 85.000 km (renewed means main crank changed with the new one; and the all parts checked and cleaned repairman said) I bought @ 89.000 km First; I changed the oil and filters when I bought it; with Motul X-Cess 8100 5W-40 + added Liqui Moly Ceratec; Issues and questions: · after 8000 km; I decided to renew oil again to keep away from IMS things... · I put again Motul 5W-40 and Ceratec, but it started to make a little bit valve lifter noises · my serviceman said that is wrong thing that I have to put Mobil1 0W-40 and not using Ceratec · I listened him and put Mobil1 New Life 0W-40 with the new oil filter · Then it started to make more noise :( Do you think the oil additives like Liqui Moly Hydro Valve additives fix this? Or what should be your suggestions? · when I asked to him about IMS bearing flange; he said it has o-ring with O type (old type, not rectangular) Do you think should I have to change this flange with the new type? Will I get any fault because of this? · We changed the A/T fluid; but we could not change oil for differential; because there is no drain hole under it? Do you know how do we change its fluid? · I bought a new remote controller from Germany dealer; bring it to my local dealer to program it; · It wored fine but after 1 week; it stopped to work :( · When I checked it with china PIWIS + Durametric it gave an error like: Terminal 86S .... Do you think why it started to stop? What should I do? · It's rear spoiler seems work fine; but when it started to open or close; the red light is coming on. · After 120 km/h it is always opening. · But below 60 km/h it is not ALWAYS closing, it is closing sometimes, but not all the times. · I tried to fix this but I could not, I could just make it greasy and cut the noises during working. There is some micro switches, but I think the error/issue is related with them, where can I find right scheme for these switches? Last one; I read some live info from Durametric; Can someone analyze them? Is there anything wrong after engine renew by my serviceman? Should I be careful or worried about something?
