  1. Are there any recommended aftermarket pads to use? Suncoast has a couple of options, but you guys always know the details. Recommendations from this site have helped me so far, so I'm sticking to them..
  2. No issues with the Mahle oil filter? Most say they are using a Porsche one? Redline is some good stuff. I replaced the trans oil in my 2010 Camaro with Redline, worked out great.
  3. Great info guys. Thank you very much. I will be looking into these.
  4. Okay, so I have read through the DIY's. Everyone has a different outlook on witch olis / trans oil / spark plugs to use. So I am asking for just that a response with the Preferred products you think are the best. I am in S. Texas so its hot so wasn't sure on 10w 40 or 20w 50 engine oil, and was really looking for just preferences on the others. Any responses will be greatly appreciated. BTW I have a 2000- 996 manual with 65000 miles. Engine oil / maker - ? Oil filter / maker? Tans axle oil / maker ? Spark plug / maker ?
  5. This was a Pain for me also. I ended up breaking it. I bought a aftermarket USB socket but didn't use it. I wrapped with CF vinyl and liked the look with it covered. Radio has a USB for charging. No need for a cigarette lighter. Sorry for the mess in the pics. I am in the middle of painting my middle console so things are apart right now.
  6. Okay, note taken. I will look around for those. Thank you sir.
  7. Hello all- I am a proud owner of a new to me 2000 996 Carrera. I have added LED running lights and ordered a short shifter after one week of having the car. I have the running lights set up to come on after start up and turn off when headlights are turned on. My question is "is there some different headlight bulbs to put in that are white and not the old yellow color" ? Close to match the white color of LEDs. On to a couple pics... Thanks for any help in advance.
