  1. Does the starter motor work? If not, it could be an issue with the key's transponder. Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  2. I would change the fuel filter. A partially clogged one will not supply enough gas for full throttle. Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  3. My comment my appear simplistic ; in the old times rain was a cause of misfire because sparkplug coils and/or cables often catch water due to bad insulation or water leaks from road splashes. Even more, defective air intake systems would bring water to the air and gas mix. You may want just to pass a visual looking for wet elements that are susceptible to fail in presence of water. Best. 4. Sorry for the typo: I do have the same problem... Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  5. Please write down how the rubber trim replacement went. I haven't exactly the same issue on my 2002 986 - S Wish you good luck. Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  6. Also, check the hoses connecting the left or the right bank to the air-oil separator. If any of those is disconnected or strangled that bank will be making explosions as soon as you start the engine. Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  7. You may want to check that sparkplugs are connected to the corresponding coil. Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk
  8. Loren, Thank you very much. Unit 1 code worked fine. Unit 2 Display panel doesn't work so I do not know if the code works or not, changed the fuse but it didn't help.. I will keep testing other solutions. I am very pleased having an original device for this car's model working as new. Best wishes to all. GEORGE-S
  9. Hey i'm interested in one of your radios if you do decide to sale it, let me know

  10. Hi Porsche riders: I recently bought a Boxster S 2002. CR-220 Becker radio was not working, I complained and the seller handed to me a second Becker CR-220. Now I have two CR-220, I will install one and will sell the other at an affordable price to a member in need of one. Please help me with the codes so I can put one to work at least (not sure which one will work), these are the Serial numbers: UNIT 1 TYPE CCR-220 MOD BE6624 S/N 15004374 UNIT 2 TYPE CCR-220 MODE BE6624 S/N 15004263 Both units show CR-220 on front. Thank you very much !!
