  1. about to order part, since right there should i replace plugs and coils too? not sure what coils are for but see it on the lists?
  2. I will do that first. Sounds fairly quick and cheaper than pumps and filters. Thanks for the advice.
  3. my 2005 Porsche has started having problems starting everytime I remove the fuel cap to fill up. It still starts ok otherwise, I haven't noticed really any other problems with it. My guess is it is probably the boost fuel pump for starting. Please advise your thoughts. If this is the case I am thinking probably better to change both pumps anyways as they as still original and if I am going to be there anyways thinking better to get both then go back in in another couple months. also being there is the filter easily accessable at the point of pulling the pumps out and if so would you recom
  4. I am having trouble with my 2005 Cayenne. it starts fine but every time you open the fuel tank to fill it up when you put the cap back on will not start good at all. Also if you take the gas cap off while the car is running it kill the car immediately. thinking fuel pump but need advise.
  5. Ok it is that. so now i will just have to order the part and change it out. I am pleased it lasted over 200K miles though. I have the link also saved for the instructions. Your help was greatly appreciated. Thank you Lewisweller
  6. Thank you for your response. Is the Cardan Shaft Centre bearing the 4-wheel drive shaft from the transfer case forward or is it something else. Sorry I am not sure. I did check that Shaft the flex disk and shaft seemed ok to me, about the same movement as the main driveline. I would like to fix it myself but as never working on a porsche before have not ventured to far into anything.
  7. We have a 2005 Cayenne, about a month ago the 4 wheel drive faulty light came on. Now the last two days while driving when going around a corner or a light acceleration 3 times have heard a real hard knock sounds like coming from under the passenger seat. let off the throttle and it goes away. not sure what to think but i am pretty sure is in the transfer care. any experience or suggestions? is there a way can fix it myself or do have to take to shop?
