Took apart all the secondary air injection system that sits on top (intake side) of the engine including the cross over tube. Below is the hole of cross over tube attaches to on passenger side. I tried blowing compressed air through it but not hearing or seeing any air exiting anywhere. Poured fuel system cleaner in the hole but the level does not go down. My question, where does this hole lead to? My understanding is that this hole (located on the block) somehow leads down to the passage on the exhaust ports (on the cylinder head). Please correCt me if I'm wrong. The second picture is from another member here that cleaned the exhaust port channels. On the 3rd picture.. there is a larger hole which I believe it's connected to the sai port on top. However this port is on the head and not the block like the sai port above. Does it cross over somewhere in between? Also any trick into cleaning the port from the top to the larger bottom exhaust port? I tried compressed air, bike wire/cable, carb and brake cleaner. All no luck unfortunately.
The passages in the exhaust port from the picture you showed, is that where the cold air from the sai is pumping into and then go into each cylinder? Also how does the air passage work from the top cross over pipe down to the exhaust port? My car is having the same cel. I tried using compressed air through the top hole and it's blocked off, no air good through. Weird because the top hole from the cross over pipe is on the block but the exhaust channel in your picture is on the great, wonder how the air gets routed
started with P0491 & P0492 CEL that came on after a day driving the car after reset. Long story short: Pump works, so moved onto cut off valve since CEL is both banks Used a tutorial on here where the poster poured seafoam on cold start into the secondary intake pipe to test for leak seafoam "cloud" came out only on the passenger side exhaust pipe and not the driver side Im guessing because of this there might be a blockage? Where should i look to next? thanks for your help!

Cameron Tam posted a topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)Hey guys, I have AC line that is slowly leaking on the line that is connected to the passenger side condenser via upper hose that goes towards the middle (maybe to the back of the car?). The lower hose is connected to the driver side ac condenser. can u tell me which part name/number that is leaking? On a side note, In which way does the Freon flow? I know it goes from compressor to condenser to dryer to expansion valve to evaporator and back to compressor. Just wondering does the freon flow to the driver side condenser first or the passenger side first? thank you again for your help. total noob here ?
