  1. I recently bought a set of Litronics headlights for my Mk 1 996 for $950 - they're in great condition. I replaced all the bulbs and find that everything is working, with the exception of one parking light bulb - the tiny one next to the high beam. I've eliminated that it's a bulb issue and I'm stumped as to what else it might be. The wiring is showing age, but I put a multimeter across the circuit and everything appears normal. If both bulbs were out I might figure it was a fuse, but it's only this one bulb in one unit. I would appreciate any guidance that anyone can give. I can't really install the headlights until this is done and the car would fail inspection with it out, so I'd really like to get these headlights working. The car looks great with them in and I would hate to have spent the money and not be able to install.
  2. Does anyone know of an alternate post for the regulator replacement procedure? The link above doesn't seem to work anymore. and I have to replace my passing side regulator. Thanks!
  3. My rear seat belt receptacle failed this weekend (failed to latch) and I need to replace it. I'm guessing that this is a simple job, but a quick search has not revealed any instructions on how to do it. I would appreciate it if someone could point me towards instructions on how to do the replacement. I have a '99 C2 and the buckle that needs replacing is on the driver's side. Thanks in advance!
  4. I used Mother's Billet cream - works really well, give an excellent shine and requires very little effort - just take a soft cloth, rub it in with your finger, then wipe off and your tips go form tarnished to shiny in a few minutes - no need to remove them and no hard buffing required. :)
  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you! These are the best instructions I've followed for an auto DIY in a long time. The job was just as described and took about as long as you said. Perfect! The only thing missed in the description that I did to make life easier was to remove the 3rd brake light in order to slide the upper metal retainer out of position. The part number that you need for this item is: Spoiler Trim, Porsche Part #: 996 512 250 00 I bought mind from Sunset Imports for $68.24
