  1. I just wanted to point out the amount of heat that is needed to burn out the tires. I was just waiting for the Porsche to go thru his tires. Paul
  2. He is luckie he did not go thru his tires like this guy did. http://www.youtube.com/user/DCshoesFILM#p/search/1/4TshFWSsrn8 Paul
  3. You can replace the rubber ring on the gas cap. I think it cost a little over $1.00. Paul
  4. Looks like dried lock-tite. You should be fine. Paul
  5. You need to undo two torx sockets to remove one coil. It is not a easy task. I would try the compress air and look for cracks first. You could also look for a DIY for removing spark plugs. Paul
  6. My brother has the Nav in his car. He cannot work all the knobs. He mainly uses it for a display that he can zoom in or out. I tried using it but it does take a learning curve to figure out. I would not recommend it to someone who does not know haw to program a VCR. Paul
  7. Coil packs are on top of the spark plugs. Get under the car and you will see three red coil packs per side. Hope your problem goes away. Paul
  8. Looks like the b16 are newer. The b16 you can adjust from inside the car. The pss10 have 10 adjustments and I think you do this under the car. Here is a link. You may want to go to Bilstein for more info. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/subcategory_detail.asp?modelcode=E46&subcat_id=125 Paul
  9. Maybe you are looking at getting to the blower. Here is a picture for a 997-1. Paul
  10. The AC fill lines are in the front trunk next to the battery. Are you looking for instructions to replace the air fan motor? Paul
  11. Just the work to bolt the pedal assembly looks like a week to do. Much cheaper to buy a manual. Paul
  12. Lets hope the updated flash software works. Paul
  13. The tow hook is in the front trunk next to the tire air pump. Paul
  14. Most guys just get the stiffer pss10 shocks like below. http://www.automotion.com/pss10-suspension-kit-bilstein-997c4-c4s-with-pasm-for-porsche.html?dept_id=4994 A gt-3 is about 1" lower. It would be alot cheaper to buy a gt-3 then to buy all the gt-3 suspension parts. You may even need to buy gt-3 half shafts for the suspension to work. Paul
  15. A few guys have added lower GT-3 suspension links. They have adjustments that you can make at the track. Paul
  16. This should get you started. Here is how you remove the door cover. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/7-door-micro-switch/ Paul
  17. Maybe it has more to do with the motor you installed. You replaced a MY05 motor with a new MY06 motor. Could it be that the dealer flashed your car with the 05 spec when he should of used the 06 spec? Sounds like another trip to the dealer. Paul
  18. It will change your redline thus more power with a shorter engine life. Paul
  19. There is a o ring on the fuel cap. Cost a few bucks for a new one. Might be a quick fix for you. Paul
  20. If the car runs good, then maybe just re-set the car. Dis-connect the battery for about five minutes. Yes you will need to reset the radio and teach your car how you drive but maybe over time the light will not return. Paul
  21. The tires are marked and they say inside and outside. Take a closer look at your tires. Paul
  22. You can add bigger sway bars and stiffer shocks for cornering. Here is a link to 997 racing parts. http://www.gmgracing...uspension.shtml Paul
  23. I looked an looked mixing words in the search. All I could find that look good was this guy from main Malaysia that is selling a racing clutch. http://www.mudah.my/Jasma+racing+clutch+l2-6061574.htm Maybe he has a lead on someone in your neck of the woods who installs clutches. You look like you live where there is nothing but Japanese cars all over. Try looking at a BMW shop if you can find one. That is my best guess. Paul
  24. Did you talk with these guys? http://merekahfajar.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html Paul
  25. I would get some Pagrid blues. Good pads and they stop real good. You will need to replace them sooner then stock. Paul
