  1. Hi They are the same. There is only a different right front mat, if the car is equipped with a Bose Sound system. ( in Europe !! )
  2. Hi Boxster floor mats are the same as Carrera floor mats, available as a set of two front mats.
  3. If you change the clutch, change the seal by the latest version. Believe my it is a must!!
  4. Are you sure if the rotors are not out of limit ? If yes, replace. If not, rectify the rotors.
  5. 996 - PCM 1 - cd reader in the console 996 - PCM 2 - cd reader in the PCM unit 997 - PCM 2.1 - dvd reader in the trunk 1 - no 2 - irrelevant to the case 3 - no PCM 2.1 is a part of the CAN bus display system
  6. Hi Fit new rotors, they are probable out of limit. When you replace the rotors fit ALWAYS new pads. Regards
  7. In this case, change first the complete clutch. A 996 clutch works smooth and is absolute girl friendly.
  8. Hi An exhaust leak is definitely not the main reason of your problem. If the fault is still occur, it is impossible to clear by drive cycle. Go to a dealer with a PIWIS tester for a check, in the menu DME - actual values, hi will find the cause.

  10. Hi Look if the switch is activated when the brake pedal is not used. If yes, replace the switch. If not, look for water infiltration in the brake booster ( water drains clogged?? ) Regards
  11. Hi IN my opinion you have got a problem with one or more control modules, witch refuse to get in the sleep mode. Inspect the wiring under the pass. seat for damage, in case of no damage go to your dealer. With the PIWIS tester in 987 - special functions - wake up guardian, is it possible to eliminate the problem. Succes
  12. The hard top provide no roll over protection, its still a roll bar job. Regards
  13. Hi The clutch pedal is equipped with a coil spring assist, if the pedal comes over a well defined point, the spring basculante and can produce a clicking noise. You can fill the spring with grease to reduce the noise.
  14. What is expensive? I have no idea what the price is in the U.K. On the continent it cost about Euro 140.00. Yes it can be checked with a PIWIS tester, menu - DME - actual values. A fault code is not always necessarily, a disturbing in the airflow results in a problem. This is not really a DIY job. Replace the air mass meter if necessarily. Regards

  16. Hi If it is a 2.5 l engine, check the engine mount on the front of the engine. The silent block is probably out of the center, if it is so , replace or repair.
  17. Hi Indeed you can find a PIWIS tester in a off. P.C.C. I have no idea what the cost is, but it takes max. 30 minutes to fix it.
  18. Hi It is not normal for a 997 C2, C4 and turbo. A G.T.2 is an other question. Regards
  19. Hi Great to hear that. It is correct that the engine check light put out by himself if there are no more fault codes stored. We speaks three languages over here Dutch, French and German.   20. Replace the headlamp washer, nozzle and water lock are build as an unit Regads.
  21. Simulate a doors closed situation, close the locks with a screwdriver or so. Regards
  22. Yes it is possible.Listen with a stethoscope, from the underside of the car, between the transmission and the engine bloc. succes.
  23. Hi You need a PIWIS tester or similar tool too reset, at the same time give a look which code is still present, and try to fix it. Sorry for my poor English. Regards
