  2. The only way to get it to start automatically in 1 is to turn off PSM on the dash. IF this does not happen its a sign that the transmission control unit is not the updated one it should be. These were changed under warranty way back then
  3. Sorry I have been lucky and have not changed the stater but I understand it involves getting into the V of the engine at which point if your coolant pipes have not been changed yet do that also. So if you look for the Coolant Pipes DIY you are most of the way there on the starter. Sorry I cannot help more. Try also rennlist.com

  4. up in Philly when its very cold its amazing when I floor it, the rear window becomes a white out
  5. I suspect your coolant pipes are on the verge of failing and will do within the next couple of months
  6. When you say you replaced the primary battery you did mean the one under the seat right ?
  7. It was as part of a diagnosis about 3/4 years ago, it was determined that coil pack of 5 was cracked, the error went away after they changed the coil The car was running very slightly rough at low revs
  8. That can be a weird error code, people get it after coolant pipes have been changed and can be just 1 cylinder coil. I would recheck your coils and plugs oh and change the oil
  9. normal, you need a genius to turn it of using PIWIS, i have not found one
  10. I guess that would be an approach, i am not going to do anything its been fine
  11. Its just a noise is what I was told by a senior tech. The cost is high because its a hell of a job. I am well over 40K miles with the noise, touch wood
  12. How do you know it was the compressor causing the problem ? it may be something else.
  13. That just started ! wow I have had that for 40K miles. I was told its the front diff getting noisy but that the fix was more that its worth and not to touch it unless it fails. I am at 117K
  14. Original Battery is failing IMHO, Autozone then follow the very good instructions in the user manual.
  15. The easiest way is to remove the cover then you can attack the clips from the underside. Its not to bad a job except for removing the rear light clusters which can be nerve wracking
