  1. I have the GHL´s on MY04 C4S and they are great, fantastic build quality and sound.
  2. Guys, In the new 997 I have noticed that they seem to have upgraded the steering wheel, can anyone tell me whether this version is able to be retro fitted to a MY04 C4S ??? and if so what sort of cost are we talking about ?? Many thanks in anticipation Steve
  3. It is a plug in unit that allows one touch opening and closing of the hood, plus closing of the rear windows whilst the hood is down. Check out their website at the top of this page for more info !!!
  4. Just thought I would put up a positive comment about the smarTop product. I have just bought and installed (in 10 minutes) the 996b part for my C4S cab and it works exactly as described, and the build quality is great. Good work guys.
  5. No problem - the price (for standard version) was $679 without tips and $799 with tips - both plus shipping etc. Talk to Brian or Cindy they were real helpful in getting the boxes over to me here in Spain - the email is Ghlexhaust@cs.com or Cindy@ghlmotorsports.com. Good luck !!!
  6. I´ve just had the GHL installed on MY04C4S and it sounds great and the quality of the product was first class and the price was good at $679.
  7. Had a small argument with a crash barrier the other night on my way home, I would like to say it wasn´t my fault but it was (and def not the cars). Anyway, I have creased the front nearside wing above the wheel arch, the rear nearside wing in the same place, and the rear skirt just to the left of the rear wheel as you look at it. My questions (a couple) are:- (1) what are the part no´s for these bits and (2) what are the prices for the same bits. My car is a MY04 C4S cabriolet (black). Many thanks in anticipation. Steve
  8. If you leave the centre console open so that you get the honk are we sure that all other aspects of the alarm system continue to function correctly and are not disabled ????
  9. Is there a metric equivalent of the torque settings described above by Loren - I am having my exhaust fitted in Spain and I am not sure the guys will understand lb/ft ..............
  10. Cheers thanbks for the info - have read the thred and it all looks a little like too much work !!!!
  11. Had a feeling it might be - how about an external input if it is not possible to upgrade the existing PCMII ??
  12. I have a MY03 C4 Cab and am wondering whether it is possible to play a DVD (multi region) film in the latest incarnation of the PCMII system, or if not are there modifications that one could make to get it working ??? Thanks in anticipation :)
  13. Neo601 - out of interest please could you tell me how much your dealer charged for installing the PSE - I am waiting for my new car to be delivered from Germany and am considering asking them to install a PSE !! Many thanks - Steve
  14. Eddy - I know this is probably a very stupid and naive question, but I am not very technical regarding what is standard and what is not re the latest incarnations of Porsche 996 ownership. I understand your mod described above, and have looked at your car in the garage (very smart), and I cannot see anywhere that you have had a PSE installed as an extra. So my question is this, I am about to take delivery of a one month old C4S Cab Tip (reg 28-06-04), which has standard tips on the exhaust. Does this car have the PSE as standard and therefore will your mod work as described or do I have to fit a PSE ????? Yours confused in sunny Spain :help:
