  1. You ROCK! This is exactly what I was looking for for the past month.. Thanks a lot! :)
  2. I know this question have been asked before on the forum, but I can't find a answer to it.. Anyone have some INSTRUCTION or UserManual for the DSP Controller part of the M680 (Or even just General Guideline from someone who understood it) And Advanced Hidden Features in the CDR-220 (like holding the Programming Button for 8 seconds, what are all thoses fields, etc.. Thanks
  3. Your project abborded, but I think everything happens for a reason, and It may be just a good thing, if you plan your stuff you could probably buy a good shape one within the next few years.. cheer up a bit.. :) keep in mind that things can go wrong very fast with a damaged car (specially high-end like porsche).. a P-car handle very well, but NOT IF it's not perfectly straight and alligned.. Maybe your simple math make you think it's a deal.. but if you have any little problem at the end of your project it can grow easily by multiple 100$ and 1000$ at the time.. that damaged car is
  4. For your information, or for any future reference, the 6 pin (2x3) connector behind the DSP Conroller, is part of the main harness of the car and it goes to the AMP (M680 DSP, that amp for your info WON'T WORK IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE DSP CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN), you can't buy it separatly. If you'r rewiring it and need a connector, you can use the computer motherboard connector like theses one.. you can take two 3-pin connector side by side to give you the 2x3 pin layout.. It fit perfectly behind the DSP, but I suggest you tu put some glue or something to avoid it of getting loose.. You can esa
  5. If you plan on playing on your car yourself, your best friend is: http://astore.amazon.com/renntechorg-20/detail/0837613337
  6. For those who don't want to waste 150$ on a simple cable upgrade, you can always switch your Enthusiast old cable for a Professional new cable, they will charge you the difference between the Enthusiast and the Professional version, so you don't really loose money :)
  7. Never heard of 'plastic dip' I wonder if it would 'braek off' or if its more like rubber..
  8. exactly what I was going to say, sim card are supposed to be portable (as long as the phone is not company specific lock), so just give whatever else cellphone s/n you have and try the sim card in your car :) I'm sure they don't need that anyway and they just ask that to fill up their computer :P good luck ! :)
  9. my 987S06 also don't have it under the front hood.. and it never been replaced..
  10. You mean only the outside to not scratch the weel or the inside also ?!?
  11. There is a list of option code under the front hood, just look up that list online yourself :) I think the dealer can also help you out with this..
  12. Ehhh.. I'm not sure about that one, the goal here is to compensate the size of the wheel with the tire profile ratio to get the same outside diameter size. It should not impact acceleration/topspeed. In that case it would effect ground clearance and probably cause suspension issues..
  13. Honestly, because I tought 18" was the smallest to fit on a 987S. I knew every secret of my 986, but I'm still very new with the 987 . But also because I had with the car a set of 18" track tire, and I wanted to keep the same handling/feeling as the stock one. I'm brigning a situation, but very opened to any suggestion because I know alot a peoples passed trough this exactly same question before me :) Is there advantage/desadvantage going to 17" wheel for the track ? Stock wheels on 987S are 8x18 and 9x18. what width are those 997 17" ones? I guess I don't want to go narrower, and I gu
  14. Hi, I Just Bought a 2006 Boxster S, Nice upgrade from my 99 Boxster. I am now looking for a 2nd set of wheel to put track tire on, I was looking for some used cosmetic damaged 18 inch oem wheel, but they are pretty hard to find. I really don't care about the look, I just want them to be straight and work just like oem ones. I didn't really considered third party wheels, is there any aftermarket brand that worth it? or should I really stick to OEM wheel? By the way, I am not interested in spending more money to get fancy liteweight wheel (in case thats your advice). Thanks! :)
  15. Can some-one with a Child Seat Deactivation Bar, unplug it and plug a Multi-Meter into the Two Pins? and Confirm me the resistance value they read when child seat belt plug and unpluged? Thanks :)
