  1. I had work performed on my 997 with no complaints. They were very professional and thorough. Alden took the time to explain the work performed and answered all my questions. I would recommend them without any hesitation.
  2. Try Suspension Performance in Mountain View (650)625-8499. I've had Eric Gauthier who owns the business work on several of my cars with excellent results.
  3. The dealer installed my Quaife diff without any problems. The only thing I remember was that the diff needed to be shimmed to fit properly(I think it's common practice) which was subbed to a specialist. Total cost was around $500 if memory serves me correct.
  4. I changed the fluid once a year since new, the car has low miles. I'm almost positive that you would feel some sponginess or fade if the fluid was the issue.
  5. Thanks for the input, I have several track hours on this car but the interesting part was I experienced no brake fade. The only symptom was the car shaking when the brakes were hot. I assumed that the rotors were warped so I took a trip to the AD to replace rotors/ pads. After further inspection the calipers turned out to be the culprit. I'm just surprised that the calipers would be cooked before anything else (brake fluid, rotors, pads) maybe they are defective... Regardless I'm switching to larger brakes. I was just curious to see if this was a common issue with the red brakes. On the comment regarding the parking brake it's always better to cool the brakes down before setting the park brake especially after spirited driving or you'll end up with warped rotors. During normal driving it should be fine to set the brake.
  6. Just curious to see if anyone here has had issues with the brake calipers being damaged due to overheating ( pistons sticking due to excessive heat). I never set the parking brake when the brakes are hot... Thanks in advance.
  7. I have an 06' C2S and curious to see if anyone has a trick or tip to get the plastic trim between the two rear seats (on the carpet) to sit properly. The trim piece came loose and I tried different angle etc... to reinstall but no luck. A stupid little problem but any help would be appreciated.
  8. I swapped out the factory sway bars to aftermarket ones which dialed out the moderate understeer in my car (stock tires size).
