  1. +1 If we strip the seat cover & take it to a local upholstery shop, I believe they can be done at a minimal cost,,, Also great time to do a unique suede/micro fiber insert.
  2. Once U've gotten used to heated seats in your vehicle, it is hard to live without it. Also wanting to increase my TOP DOWN DRIVING days even in those chilly winter days or cool summer nights. There were days driving with the top down is a bit too cool to be comfortable. This probably has been discussed in here a few times I also found a old thread by Vogel. But his cost summary was about $1200-OUCH! Unfortunately my 986S didn't come with this option therefore I'm almost 90% decided on tackling this mod,,, I might be able to get her done with less than $200+ a few hrs of my passionate time. Now just wondering that many of U fellas out there wished having a heated seat option as well as would be interested doing this DIY. Any input would be much appreciated.
  3. there should be 3 micro switches outer handle, inner handle, latch. If U get the same result when you pull on the outside door handle & inside door handle(both),,, most likely it's the freyed window regulator cable. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...0&hl=window
  4. ain't worth it without upgrading the worthless OEM amp,,,
  5. or U can get a new cluster piece finished in carbon fiber for about $480
  6. any on&off switch on the maitainer? If not I would get a lamp extention cord with inline toggle switch.
  7. Thanks :D . they are 18" I get that question all the time 18'' or 19"? I ordered online then confirmed over the phone. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...c=16783&hl= Nice ride!. Is that 18" or 19"?, according to usarim.com they recently came out with the same rim in 18". How did you order?. Online / Phone?.
  8. I'm running a set on my 986S. Yes U wil need a pair of 7mm+ spacers on the rear. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...c=16783&hl=
  9. anytime RC, great choice by the way a.yes Eurotech wheels(life time warranty) b.That's what they told me too-my stock offset was ET50, 2mm was barely rubbing c.not a SS snap on piece, truly polished chrome Thanks juniinc for that photo :). That second set was my first option actually, because I used to like the SSR GT3 rim and the company seems to have vanished. Front: 18x8.5 et52 - 26lbs - 1.5" lip Rear 18x10 et58 - 28lbs - 3" lip Whereas the first set would have been a couple lbs lighter thats all. a. Did you get it from the same place (usarim.com / eurotech wheels)?. I had a friend of mine in San Diego, check the shop out it seems legit. b. The second rim dealer said its a standard offset for the 911 in the front and it should fit with no spacers c. The rim that you have is it a truly polished lip or is it a stainless steel snap on piece?. The usarim guy is really slow in response to emails.
  10. I've seen many BSA wheels & they will fit fine. "I thought more offset = less lip?." not necessarily,,, I got a set of your second option on my 986S. Yes U can believe what he is claiming, rear lip is actually a bit more than 3". both wheels will fit fine, may need a pair spacers on the front.
  11. sounds like a faulty alternator to me,,,most likely VR.
  12. , Uhm, so what??? You the topic mod..............
  13. very easy about a few hrs to do the job, possibly less. bring a fully charged battery, that should be able to bring her home. Good luck
  14. As timbo said,,, comes off in a few minute.
  15. I'm with Cassie on this one. I think center console OEM cup holder is so ugly,,,
  16. coolant level sensor? It located at the bottom of your coolant tank,,, I believe it is normally open circuit, a faulty sensor will close the circuits together will trigger ,,, by pass it then see what happens.
  17. Pionner Avic3? if u do prefer navi,,, yes either Alpine 1din or 2 din will fit fine, 2din might require u some console mod. Personally I'm too busy to drive her hard, shifting, watching my RPM all the way to 6grand,,,LOL my choice was flip down(motorized) touch screen DVD,DIVX player. Good luck
  18. Uhm, there has been so many tire topics?
  19. time for U to get an after market HU,,,
