  1. yeah JP , I missed out. I'm gonna try to make it next time. Let me know when something cool happens,,,
  2. Hey JP I read that article long time ago. r u telling me its the same car I saw? at quest. I sure do wanna take her out for a spin this article? http://www.europeancarweb.com/features/070...ters/index.html Hint you have seen that same black Boxster S in front of Quest. If you want to take it for a spin when the weather gets nice let me know.
  3. I know they do look cool on a blk 986. U can rarely find em on Ebay for about $250,,,,, It took me a few days for me to decide & went through hundreds of photos. I'm going to go with my 2ND choice. LED's remind me of too much of rice burners. I'm gonna get my pair form caffeinstrip(if i can contact him), just plain 97 amber tails. Then I'll make em all blk- it is usually done by spray painting(special translucent paint) then few coats of clear. Juniinc, Where can you find the black-coated taillights (your choice #2)?
  4. how much would you charge me for a subwoofer box - molded between 2 seats. that is what I want for 1 -10" sub
  5. CV joints grind grease into mush over the time. That is why we use the special grease in them and is also why they should be cleaned and repacked.- Pelican
  6. My bad! I got u confused w/ caffein strip. both of pix r from strosek designs in fact! I like what u got now but I',m just worried they look so fragile, if they actually gonna help drifting,,, what is ur opinion on my tail light post?
  7. rain is not an issue, plus most of us park her in the garage-don't we? LOL I just read ur profile. I believe Porsche upgraded in 2003 model, sound muffler that is Im talking about. But I'm not 100% positive....
  8. Yes cofeesucker, those r on a 986 hey what happened to ur tail lights ? aren't those ur old ones?

  12. U will need a Escort direct hard wire kit(escort.com/2 types available) - allowing you to hardwire the power for your detector to the vehicle's fuse box so you don't have a power cord dangling down from the dash and plugged into a cigg lighter socket. So your radar wires can be well hidden. In my case I tapped w/ my stereo circuit, since my aftermarket unit was drawing 1.5 AMP lower than stock cdr220. Or u can always tap to one of the vehicles fuse circuit u don't use much(side mirror heater, rear window defroster) power consumption is so low it shouldn't matter anyway,,, picture shown above by Halo is also hard wired in, notice the wide flat wire instead of spiral cord? I did read ur previous post- yes u will lose sensitivity of laser detection. For maximum performance, your detector should be mounted level on your windshield, with a clear view of the road. Do not mount your detector behind the tinted area at the top of your windshield. This will reduce its laser performance dramatically!
  13. Uhm interesting ! since I respect every1's opinion but u r not the only one stating that "rice"comment -I heard it from a few.
  14. Yup it is normal, white/ tint of blue smoke should clear up after a while. Try not to park ur car on incline- that would be oil slipping into your cylinder bore
  15. <_<No one loves a widebody than German Tuning house TechArt, except maybe Sir mix- a lot
  16. We can't verify the speed Carscoop's claiming this Porsche was going when it hit a bird traveling the opposite direction, but considering the level of damage it caused, we'd have to say 155MPH sounds like it could be the right velocity to do this-Article by Ray Wert
  17. Go take a look at my post- New rear window installed! You mentioned 4 hours to do the job ... HOW? 1.) If I need to do the same, then do I need to take off the convertible top and then use a sewing machine to put it? 2.) Do I just take the replacement plastic window and the car to an upholstry place to get it done? I would like to do it on my own ... however, I am somewhat lost trying to figure out "How to take the canvas top OFF?" Thanks.
  18. Yes, blinkwatt. They would be 550 edition tail lights but all red euro version.
  19. Bristol thanks for ur input! I agree majority of it. yes third one would only look good maybe on a red car & also reminds me too much of Honda JDM 's cheap euro version. on this pix it looks like u got an eye ball hanging on ur tail-lol for the black ones they r professionally coated w/ nite shade-special translucent lens paint so they still come on as red.
  20. yes on a Boxster but online-have no idea is ur turbo all finished by the way? Thats interesting, on a boxster? Wonder if it's online. THanks PK
