    My shop stopped using M1 in their customer and race cars after they changed the formula recently and now recommends Total/Elf... and is ACEA rated.

    Great topic. The car seems to have great traction in the normal mode. Are people finding that they only ever use the diff changes when they are truly offroading or on extra slippery snow & ice roads as well? I am headed to the snow for the 1st time in our CTT (with new performance snows) and am wondering if I should just drive like I did with our AWD turbo Subaru wagon on snow or should I be engaging some diff? Thanks in advance.

    i was told that the keys are the same cut and that i could buy a used one and then take it to the dealer for programming. Sounds like I have wrong information.

    My tires drive dramatically different in cold temperatures. They feel like wagon wheels for the first few miles as they warm up in the morning. Have less traction and never seem to warm unless it is over 45F.

    I swapped from Pirelli neros to Toyo T1Rs. The dealer recommended N-rated tires, but after reading about how the N-rating was created I did not see the value for lack of selection. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 rated the same for dry performance and similar for wet. I really needed wet performance living in Oregon. As you can see from the tread pattern, wet traction is fabulous. I pound through puddles where I drove up them with the Neros. Breakaway is very smooth and dry traction is fabulous.

    Awesome write up! Wish you were local. First one took almost 8 or 9 hrs. I couldn't figure out how to get the axel out of the wheel carrier. Then i hit it with a hammer and loosened it. Last resort worked. The other side took only 2.5hrs start to finish. Thats including taking pictures. And working by myself. Certainly having 2 people would make things go easier.

    I can say Ditto! No idea what is causing it, but I can turn the key, see the lights and no cracking or firing. No water on the floor and relays look good. grrr.

    Try 2615 or 2613 thank you for the fast reply. I missed the reply last night as I kept refreshing the previous page; need to set my options to email me I guess. I tried both numbers and they did not work. I will try again in an hour after the reset. :renntech: sooo I waited a 2.5hours (after trying it at 1 and 1.5hrs) with the car turned off and the keys out and the WAIT is still on. Hmmm. Searched other threads and do not see any recommendations. Ideas? I drove to the dealer to get the code and ask about the WAIT that would not stop. They said that the key had to be in the car, in the on position for 60+ minutes to reset. Hope that helps someone else. They said that they could not just look up the radio code with either the serial or the vin. It would take a tech's hour = $100. They did call the dealer where I bought the car used to see if they had the code-no luck. So I will just try a few codes for a couple days and decide if I go pay $100 this weekend.

    I just pulled the relay, taped the #18pin and replaced. Click the e-brake one click and it works.
