  1. I bought a car that had these installed already. The driver side one doesn't light up at all and the passenger side only lights up partial. Does anyone know if these have replaceable bulbs or are they some kind of Electo Luminescent material like indiglo?
  2. Cool, thanks for the info. So where can you buy a locking lug nut set for the spaced wheels? The spacers will be secured with OE locking bolts, so I don't guess I have to worry about anyone stealing my spacers once they remove the wheels...hehe. Thanks again for the info. I feel better understanding the ins and outs of everything I undertake. Happy Holidays!
  3. Are they required for the wheel fitment? Or is it a personal preference? Any negatives to running them? Not required - optional as long as they are TT spec wheels. No negatives that I can think of. So that I don't sound like a complete toolbag; I don't have the car yet, I just bought it and it's my first Porsche, so I haven't seen the hub area to extrapolate how these things fit. They came with a bag with locking type wheel bolts (I'm used to lug nuts so the whole bolt thing is new to me) and the bolts have this odd half egg shaped centering gizmo just below the head. I see on the spacer where those centering balls fit, or at least that what the indentations look like. How do the spacers attach to the hub area. Sorry for the newb questions, I'm just trying to shorten my learning curve before the car arrives. Thanks

  5. They are 17mm thick and they look like Porsche part #'s 361 6 17 00 and they say "Made in Germany" There are two stacked on top of each other in the pics with the studs sticking through. What are the black caps that look like lug nuts used for?
  6. I bought a used set of Sport Techno wheels for a 996 TT, they came with a bag that had spacers and new bolts. Are they optional installment or must they be used to fit the Sport Techno's to a Turbo? There's only two spacers, do they go on the back or the front? And... How do you install them? Never had to use them before... Thanks for any help.
  7. Why are there so many different horsepower specs with cars that are all supposed to have the same engine?
  8. Yes, in MY2003. So what motor is the M9670-643? I see X50 in the option list.
