  1. I came across a Macadamia 997 the other day looking through Autotrader, cars.com, etc. Car.com as about 20+ brown 911s
  2. Sun Coast Motorsports. I'll call them just to make sure they will work. Thanks. Scott
  3. Thanks Loren. The # on the pads is definitely 996 352 930 03. All 4 of the pads say Textar T4045 FF (43P). The next line down says 21792 155 319. the 3rd line is the # 996. 352.930.03. The very bottom says Germany 003596 01/10. So do you think these are good for a '00 C2? Thanks, Scott
  4. Can someone tell me if I was sent the right oil filter and rear brake set for my '00 C2 please? I ordered these online and I think they sent me the wrong ones. The oil filter they sent is #996 107 225 60. It looks different than the ones in the past. The rear brakes they sent are #996 352 930 03. If someone can confirm these are the correct brakes and filter I would appreciate it. Thanks. Scott
  5. This is a little hard to describe, but i'll give it a try. I have had a noise coming from the front of the car every once in a while when I go over a bump or brake/accelerate hard (like if i blip the throttle in 1st gear at a high rpm and the car thrusts forward and then slows down really fast). I figured it was the suspension so I had it checked out. They torqued everything down but still the same problem. I started to think it was coming from inside the dash somewhere. Now I think i have narrowed it down to the steering wheel/column. I have noticed that if I pull back or push in on my steering wheel I get the same clunk (the steering wheel doesn't feel loose at all). If I drive down the road and keep pushing in on the steering wheel (keeping pressure on it) I don't get the noise. Has anyone heard of something like this? All I can guess is there is something down at the bottom of the steering column that is slightly loose. The car drives fine and nothing in the steering or suspension feels or acts loose. Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Never mind. I just figured it out. The part that it snaps into is broken. I'll have to order a new part.
  7. I can't figure out how this switch attaches under the rear center console. The alarm beeps at me every time i set it because this isn't hooked up.
  8. Thanks guys. I'll refill a few times and see how it goes. I thought it was off because after changing the battery and going through a tank of gas the needle was on empty and the computer said "0" miles to empty. When I filled it, it only took about 12-13 gallons so I thought it was off. I'll fill up again and check it. Thanks again. Scott
  9. Installed a new battery a while back in my 2000 C2 (believe it or not, the original battery lasted 8 yrs! That must be some kind of record). I read up on a few things and it sounded like sometimes the gas gauge will not register correctly afterwards. I filled my tank before changing the battery, but it seems like the gauge is off a little. Does the dealer need to reset the computer? If so, is it a really quick fix? Thanks. Scott
  10. I just replaced the broken hinge on my oddments storage compartment in my 2000 C2 Cpe. When I went to put it all back together I couldn't figure out what this goes to. Any thoughts. Scott
  11. Mine just broke on my 00 C2 coupe. I know I've heard Porsche has a fix for this. Anyone know the parts I need to buy from the dealer and is it a hard fix? Thanks guys. Scott
  12. Have noticed the air conditioning is not blowing very cold last few times. Maybe a little cold but not enough to be comfortabel when it is hot outside. I'm going to take it in next week. Just wondered if anyone has had this issue and what the fix was? My car is a 2000 C2. Any thoughts? Thanks.
