  1. Correct. This car is already flashed. With my stock K16s I saw max 0.7 Bar Now, after an FVD flash, hybrid turbos and DVs, I see 1.3 Bar as of 3rd gear. One way or another you are still losing power. Take off all 4 boost hoses and re-attach. Make sure the clips 'click' in. Also wouldn't hurt if you cleaned your MAF.
  2. All, Just picked up a pair of used 16K/24K hybrids and will install them myself one of the next weekends. My software provider (FVD) will provide me with a free software swap (currently have a flashed 'regular' 16K car). I believe they will provide me with their stage III program. What should I buy to install those used hybrids myself ? I was thinking about a 5 Bar fuel pressure regulator and changing the sparks while I'm out there. Do I need to buy any gaskets or anything else for the turbos themselves ? What the best place to buy all of this stuff ? Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. I'mgoing to call them tomorrow. Here's what I think the culprit is :look at the picture which shows the rear side of the HRE rim. You can notice the 5 holes for the lugs, but also 5 other 'pockets' in the back of the rim. I have no clue what they are for, but they certaily look like they accumulated water. You can see those same 5 round circles showing up as corrosion marks on the pictures above.
  4. The rest of the car is fine. I spent most of my day under it :) The issue seems to be with how the HRE wheels keep water trapped in that area.
  5. The title says it all. I've been performing my 15K maintenance on an otherwise mint 2004 TT cab and was shocked when I took off my wheels. See pics for what is going on. Really weird because the car is otherwise in stellar condition. The car is not on OEM wheels anymore since I converted it to 19 inch HREs, but I don't know whether that could have anything to do with it. Any leads as to what is happening ? Dang, this really ticks me off....
  6. Lots of MAF issues. Stock is best.
  7. How funny, I went through exactly the same experience with my car. To top it off, it came with a nav CD which did not cover my part of the country. To obtain the keys and manuals in a cost efficient way, just order them with Sunset Porsche. Don't even shop around. You need a regular (80$) and a valet key (30$). The manuals for the car and PCM2 cost 25$ a pop. The leather map also 20$. Having the 2 keys cut and programmed set me back 175$ (50$ a pop to cut them and 60$ for the programming). There is NO cheaper place to have them cut than at a Porsche or Audi dealership. The issue is that the cut runs in the middle of the key. Regular key makers are not set up for that. I know, it's frustrating, but you'll get over this. Welcome to the wonderful world of TT Cabs. Get a flash soon (I went for FVD). Totally transforms the car.
