  1. Hi, I have a 2002 with litronic, mine both work, but i a want 6000k bulbs (yes i know they arent as bright). But i have now tried two different sets of D2S bulbs, both light up for a second, and then goes dark. If i put the stock bulbs back they work just fine. Any tips? Ive fitted the same kind of 6000k bulb to other cars with no problems. regards
  2. hey! My 2003 C2 also suffers from an uneven accelerator pedal, it has a sticky/notchy feel to it. So I want to take it out and try to lube all the joints. Any tips on how to remove it from the car?
  3. UPDATE: Now the car doesn't even crank anymore, when the starter kicks in it just makes ticking sound, and its not because of to little power, i have already replaced the battery.. FML
  4. hi! I have a 2004 V6, recently its has been hard to start, the starter runsfor like 5-10 seconds, then its usually starts and runs normally, sometimes itjust dies right away. It happened rarely the past couple of weeks, but now it'salmost every if not every time I try to start it. Also the air suspension faultmessage comes up, but that might not have anything to do with this. Can this be linked to a bad battery? How do I check if I have a cayennewith two batteries? All help greatly appreciated, Porsche workshop prices in Norway arequite extreme! :( You need to test the fuel pressure. The Cayenne has two fuel pumps with the left pump being the main unit. Thank you guys for all you’requick replays, I will take it to my local mechanic tomorrow and have itthese tips checked :) Just one quick question; where are the fuels pumps located?

  6. Have now changed it, it didn’t help much unfortunately. So far I have replaced: - the spark plugs - All coils - oil and filter - Air filter - Timing chain tensioner only things left to change is the crank sensor and the cam axel sensor. To me it looks like the faulty chain tensioner has stretched the chain so much so, that it need to be replaced. Any thoughts? :)
  7. hi I will let you know as soon as possible. Volkswagen didnt have the part in stock, but they will get i tomorrow, so I will try to replace it then ;) Mine doesnt make as much noise as youres but still there is something wrong, so lets just hope this works ! regards
  8. Hi! Thanks so much, i will definitely try this out tomorrow! Porsche Oslo, in Norway, wanted 4000$ to repair it, and change the whole timing chain. So if this works, you've saved me a lot of cash! ;-) Just to be clear, are there 2 tensioners, one upper and one lower? thanks:)
  9. hi i have a 04 v6 3.2 tiptronic, 80.000miles. And it has a weird problem. Porsche here in Norway arrent really sure about what it is and suggested that they take the whole engine out to check it. Which to me seems unnecessary. The problem is this: The idle is ok, but from idle while driving up to about 4250RPM the engine sounds like its misfiring and pulls badly. It sounds like its under a lot of strain and I think its noisier then it used to be. The engine sound noticeably changes at about 4250RPM, above that the engine has a nice, healthy sound. The check engine light is not on, nor are any other fault indicators. According to a local mechanic it gives out fault codes on the crank sensor and the cam axel sensor. He believes the sensors need replacing. Porsche Oslo thinks it needs a new timing chain and adjustment. And Porsche Sweeden thinks it needs new spark plugs and coils. But no one "over here" have had this problem before apparently :-/ so now im kind of stuck.. Do some of you have any advice? :)
  10. Some Cayennes have had problems with the universal joints/cardan shafts - especially the 2003 and 2004 models. I'm not sure if this is what you are experiencing, but it could be. Do you know if this issue has been previously addressed on your Cayenne? I also have this problem on my cayenne V6, its so bad it makes my head hurt if I don't have the stereo on. Anyone know more about what could cause this? mine is a 2004, done 97.000km (60.000Miles) regards I had my front left wheel bearings changed and it cured the problem ;-)
  11. hehe you would think so, and in America it probably is, but in Norway a new Cayenne S cost 200.708,- $ and a Turbo costs 290.000,- $. A used Cayenne S with all options is worth around 89.000,- $. So that's quite a difference ;-) just buy US version and send it Norway (will be about $3k shipping cost + $1k homologation cost) + 190.000$ to get it registered here ;) haha the car taxes in this country are ridicules !
