  1. I bought mine through the board sponsor (Sunset Porsche) and they are cheaper than Suncoast. I paid roughly $1K shipped.
  2. If you painted them blue then I hope it is becasue YOU like them, which is of course all that matters when it comes to our cars. But, since you posted them up and looking for opinion, I am not liking that at all. Just too cheezy for me to see calipers painted to match the body color. Calipers in my opinion should either be just a standard black (non high perform, ance systems or when it is a high performance system it (like the ones on our cars) should be red.
  3. Title says it all. I need part number for the following if anybody has them: 1. 4 and 8 degree shims for GT3 rear spoiler 2. Metal valve stems for GT3 wheels. FYI....2004 996GT3. Thanks!!!
  4. So I got the Pepper back from the dealer yesterday and had the wipers examined. The ticket says "Wiper Blade Removed +Reinstd" as well there is a part number so I assume they put new ones in. The sound is 100% gone!!! They are as quiet as can be :) FYI, the part number is "955 628 939 01 WIPER BLADE SET DRIV" My dealer told me they have had alot of problems with noise and less than steller "wiping" from the wipers. So they have "adjusted" the angel of attack and replaced the blades on MANY of them.
  5. I agree it not's enough but at least I got rid of that 4x4 look of the car. I actually measure BEFORE and AFTER and got those measurements. If you want more you would have to go with adjustable's.
  6. Great to hear everything worked out! By the way, when mine was installed, I got about 15m in the rear and about 22 in the front and it WAS noticeable.
  7. Actually I did go through the TSB files and but stupidly I passed on those since it just said "replace" and I assumed it would say something like "Repair Piece of Crap Non-Functional Wipers that were an Afterthought" TSB :) Time to go actually read them. Ron....the blades have done this since new and have had the Pepper for a year.
  8. Title says it all. My wipers make a horrible sound when operating that I hate even using them in the rain! The best way to describe the sounds is the sound a wiper would make on the windshield with NO water at all on it. 100% dragging/grinding friction sound. Anybody experience this? FYI 05 Pepper
  9. Wow! Over 50 downloads and nobody has cared to comment? What a bunch of lame-o's  Very sweet rims! Once you lower that 4x4 then you will be looking very good.
  10. If you bought them new why didn't you contact the eBay seller to let them know you have a defective light?
  11. That blows. I guess that is the problem you have when buying used. Didn't realize there was a market for these used since i have never heard of anybody downgrading to standard lights. By the way, when you say upgrade "kit" are you talking about the FACTORY OEM LITRONICS ASSEMBLIES? In otherwords, slide out the entire out light assembly and slide in the new one? Or are you talking about some aftermarket kit that tries to duplicate the zenon lights?
  12. There is a 2yr warranty on OEM parts. Have you talked to the dealer about it?
  13. Not sure what it says in your manual (and might I suggest that you check that as well :) ) but my GT3 manual states to NOT let the car warm up idle, instead drive off immediately keeping revs below 4K till engine fully warm.
  14. Looks good! I just gave it a try. Thanks Loren.
  15. ah....totally understand. I didn't think of that. I know in some of the search engine for forum software you can look for more than 1 word buy using sometihng like: Search: +adhesive +brake +pad ...to find brake pad adhesive Maybe that is a functionality possible here? Sorry, Loren, I am just bored right now and trying to find ways to make things easier. You can reach through the computer if you like and give me a good smack across the forehead :)
  16. I see that you can search based on a part number but not a description. Can that functionality be added? Thanks Loren! Cheers, Dell
  17. very cool Loren! I learn something new here all the time :)
  18. If it is repairable you can have it done but it will lose the speed rating. Not worth it in my opinion. Get the road hazzard warranty and have them replaced when you get a nail, etc.
  19. Well then tranny makes sense but I am pretty sure your plugs are a-ok.
