  1. What ever happened to your seat clunking? Were there any loose bolts?
  2. I am not sure what you mean by chunky. Have you ever had battery problems before and know what it sounds like? Usually gets progressively worse as you continue to try to start and battery runs low.
  3. Is there any difference between Tiptronic and Manual when it comes to IMS problems. Possibly less shock and awe on the engine?
  4. Have had mintex in my 98 boxster for two years....less dust than oem...more bite it seems...I like them.
  5. :renntech: I am sooooo grateful for finding this thread...Sorry to open it up again but I had the same problem, had a mechanic look at it (former Porsche dealer mechanic with his own business) who couldnt figure it out. I raised the car, and all felt tight except for one....which wasnt really loose and but I could crank it down about 3/4 turn more before it got to the 25-ft lb point....voila...no more noise.... Thnks a bunch....this renntech forum is the best... B)
