  1. OK just checking. Someone over at Rennlist attempted this with their 92A (don't know the year) and found what may be ductwork for the floor distribution system blocking access to the filter cover. May be similar to this procedure for a 2011 Toaureg posted here: http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f43/2011-cabin-filter-change-82471.html I'm going to pull the passenger side cover this weekend and will report back. Thanks
  2. Are there any differences in the cabin air filter change procedure between the 9PA series and the 92A? Is it in the same location? I have a 2013 Cayenne base. Thanks in advance.
  3. Works great. No, it does not include the dash clock or the timer functions in the PCM. But it has all of the other features. Dealer charged about $300 in labor to do the install which included the new switch plate and the programming
  4. Here are the part numbers for the rest of the components 958-505-973-10-9B9 958-505-974-10-9B9 958-505-874-00-9B9 Photos below of the componetns and the completed assembly
  5. For what it is worth, the 958-505-683-20 grill is only part of what you need. The grill does not come with the blades shown in the photo. These are called covers and you need three of them center grille COVER & COMPONENTS, upper, w/distance sensor, upper, w/distance sensor Left center grille COVER & COMPONENTS, upper, w/distance sensor, upper, w/distance sensor Right center grille COVER & COMPONENTS, lower Don't know the part numbers, but i though I would document for future reference. This is off of the Sennen Porsche parts website. the items in question are 10, 11, and 12
  6. Youtube video for Cab. Very similar to coupe. Note that you pry on the windshield side of the lens assembly to remove.
  7. I understand now. I don't have the Cayenne yet, its on order due here in Sept. I was trying to prepare in advance. Thanks for the help!
  8. Unfortunately, doesn't look like the part I need. I'm looking for the insert to the front bumper cover with horizontal slates like in the photo below. Or is this an integral part of the bumper cover? Thanks.
  9. Thanks. Any diagrams of that location? I'm looking into the possiblility of installing a PathfindIR camera in the location normally occupied by the adaptive cruise control transmitter. The grill will allow free visibility for the camera. I did the same for my Toyota Sienna four years ago
  10. I'm looking for the part number of the center front bumper grill for a 2012 base Cayenne with the adaptive cruse control transmitter. Thanks in advance for your help.
  11. Nice writeup, but you don't have to remove the entire air filter box just to change the filters. If you also want to clean the throttle body and/or change the belt, the removing the entire box is needed. http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/32267-997-air-filter-replacement/
  12. While the OP hasn't responded, I would be interested in the instructions for a 2009 Carerra C2 coupe. No sports chrono. Thanks in advance for your help
  13. Here is the process illustrated for those who are interested. Replacing 997.2 engine air filters.pdf
  14. Pretty straight forward - like most of the late model Porsches. Oil drain on the bottom of the sump - us a new sealing washer (the same one they have used for 15 or 20 years) 900.123.106.30 -- US MSRP $0.81 each Oil filter canister on the top of the engine. New filter and o-ring. oil filter 948.107.222.00 -- US MSRP $16.13, O-ring 948.107.322.00 -- US MSRP $6.32 Same oil filter, o-ring and and pan sealing ring are used on the Panamera. hi loren, i am new to our forum group and i just bought a 2010 carrera s in carrara white, pdk. you have details on the torque requirements for the oil filter cover and the drain plug? we dont want to strip any threads and make a big mess. 37 ft-lb for the oil drain plug 19 ft-lb for the filter canister lid Hope this helps
  15. Is there any torque requirement for the filter and cover screws (items 7 and 9), or just go for reasonably tight?
  16. I recently swapped the dome light cover for one in leather. There are no screws retaining the dome light, just two spring clips located next to the windshield side of the light. There are two retainer tabs on the homelink side. Prying from the windshield side will cause the assembly to rotate towards the homelink buttons. An alternate method is to remove the dome light cover per the method outlined in the manual (see the section regarding manual closing of the sunroof for the coupe model). Removal for the Cab should be similar. You can then access the spring clips of the dome light from the back. Using your fingers to squeeze the clips allows easy removal of the assembly without prying on the lens. I will try to photograph and upload a picture of the old cover I have this weekend. I will highlight the retention points discussed above.
  17. 997.2 with PDK. Around 20 mpg in town, 27-28 on the highway. Currently at 9600 miles. Gas mileage measured via the miles driven vs gallons needed to fill. Overall mileage over the entire 9600 miles is 26 mpg via the trip computer.
