  1. I personally like the Michelin for the better ride comfort.
  2. I don't have a picture.. but you look under the car, the 2 sensor immediately after the engine is easily accessible compare. The 2 aft of catalytic converter are in a very tight sport. always change both fronts at the same time.
  3. Any recommendation for a shop in Socal that will do just the plastic window replacement? Gahh does the whole top.
  4. what is the part no for the rubber seal? Did you torque it to 52 in/lb without the tool?
  5. Anyone remove the fuel pump without using the special VW tool 3217? My fuel gauge is stuck at full. It a simple procedure to perform but I want to make sure I do not need the special tool to remove the union nuts. The manual also recommend replacing the union nuts too.
  6. Since driving the car twice in 2 weeks, I noticed the fuel gauge is fluctuating between full and 3/4 mark. While driving the gauge will show either full or 3/4. The car is 2002MY. Could this be a fuel level sender problem?
  7. I just received the OEM 17mm from Sunset import. Now I have about 2mm of clearance from the struts. I chalked the wheel and drove round the block and there is no evidence of rubbing.. Where did you get the 20mm spacers from?
  8. I did a search and there is varying opinion on what size to get. Yes, over squared tires can cause rubbing. Assume, it is not. If I got with a 15 mm spacer, will the rear be fine with an offset of 50mm? or do I need more ?
  9. its the ignition switch. Cost is about $10. Buy one and replace it yourself. I just did mine.
  10. The shorter the leverage, the more effort it needs to overcome.
  11. The service advisor works on commission. The more he recommends the more he makes.. If your car does not need warranty work, do not step into a dealership, period.
