  1. the tips are the same as ArtherK's! original Tequipment sports tips for '02-. the bumper part no. are from the RoW catalog and is the same for the GT3 w/o bumperettes. fitment, the bumper will fit to the body 100% but then all the rest e.g. retaining console and heat shield on the back of the bumper might need some adjustment, not really sure at the moment.
  2. and you will these part too "rear support", to fasten the mid part of the bumper: 2 x part no. 996.505.639.02
  3. the '02- back bumper has beeen discussed here bumper part no. 996.505.411.12 retaining frame, also so called heat shield console part no. 996.505.631.01 (left) part no. 996.505.632.01 (right) dualpipe tips Tequipment no. 996.111.981.02 (left) Tequipment no. 996.111.982.02 (right) does anyone know the different between the pre-'02 and '02- "retaining frame"? are they that much different, due to they cost you 90,- euro each  cheers, Tony
  4. really nice, and take care of the left tip, seems to touch the bumper there.
  5. the dualpipe tips are huge compare to the stock tips, even bigger than mine which already are the largest Tequipment sports tips!
  6. the '02- bumper will fit 100% but you will need 2 new heat shield console and 2 new tips due to the '02- bumper is around 2cm lowered. the stock tips are cheap, can easily find them on eBay all the time. @Don, seen your car and it is seldom to find with that perfection around here! cheers, Tony
  7. check out ArthurK's C2 Cabrio in the garage for pics! the bumper is the same as the current 996 and GT3 mk2. cheers, Tony
  8. hey my996, I have seen a few which were not so great fitted, specially around the backlight roundings. But I would say all depends how picky you are, and I'm very much at that so I would then rely much of a good tuning shop to help me with that to get everything perfect. Myself have decide to put the "facelift" bumper with ParkDistansControl and the dualpipe exhaust tips, everything are OE parts from Porsche. cheers, //T
  9. Loren, sorry my misstake, didn't made it quite clear! I compared the TT/C4S (GT3 mk1) rear against the BoxsterS front, BoxsterS and C4S are using the same brake pads 996.352.949.02. the only thing different I see between these Calipers are the number for front (351) and rear (352), and all Calipers BoxsterS (front) and TT/C4S/GT3 mk1 mounting position is 13cm. and another thing why then is it possible to mount a 330mm disc for TT/C4S/GT3 mk1 on the rear with the same brake pads and using similare Caliper but only uses 318mm for the C2/C4 up front? cheers, Tony
  10. hey Loren, are the GT3 rear Calipers (996.352.425.xx and 996.352.426.xx) the same as the BoxsterS (996.351.425.xx and 996.351.426.xx)? (due to they are using the same Pads!) cheers, //T
  11. hey Wolfgang, aerokit will unfortunately lower your top speed due to the larger areas on the bumper, with that the air restistance are much higher and a better downforce. the more downforce you get, the less top speed, that's the physic of nature! a very good example are between C4 and C4S, C4 max 285km/h and C4S 280km/h, according to Porsche official tech info, due to the Turbo aerodynamic but with same engine. cheers, Tony
  12. hey all, we know that the stock 3.4L aero dynamic get a Vmax of 275km/h and what about GT3 mk1 aerokit, loss of Vmax? cause last Sunday, I tried out Vmax on my 3.4L with stock air paper filter, GT3 front bumper and a set of TurboII rims with 285/30 at the back, and my digi tacho came up to 278km/h, which is of course not the true speed, I know my tacho has about 5km/h faults. so I'm interested to hear your expereince with your aero dynamic tuning? cheers, Tony
  13. no there is not a straight bolt-on and there will require some modifications, the TT and 4S are 30mm wider than the slimbody. Carnewal can deliver you a complete solution with factory parts and some extras for '02-
  14. I know what I wouldn't put, the "GT3" logo unless my car is a real GT3. I got the chrome "911" on the back, looks and shine real nice in the evening, that's what I have heard from my friends due to I never been driven behind my P-car.
  15. great car and scenery and about Carbon parts, you can also check out Cargraphic that would be an option.
  16. the back bumper looks really great and very similar to the RUF RGT, and for the front I would go for the real RUF in PU-rim, cost 1200,- euro by RUF. cheers, //T
  17. oiling the filter is only intended for the metall/cotton sportfilter, e.g. from BMC, K&N, GreenFilter etc. see example from K&N Filter
  18. I've just bought 2x 4Ltr Castrol RS "Formula1" 0W-40 plus Oil Filter for complete €70 (Oil=2x€29 and Filter=€12). Is the price OK for the oil Filter? cheers, //T
  19. I have tried out the MTEC 4350K and it is really nice and very similar to the pics posted with PIAA 4500K, can really recommend them! cheers, //T
  20. found this now on eBay: seems to be DOT approved after all or <_<
  21. Castrol Official german website quote: "Leistungsklassen: API SJ/CF, ACEA A3/B4, Spezialfreigaben von Porsche und BMW - Exklusivfreigabe für BMW M3/M5 Motoren." short in english: "exclusive approved for Porsche and BMW engines" you are right, the TWS 10W-60 is not for retails, you can get it from BMW and motorsport partners here in Germany.
  22. hey Tool Pants, any experience in Castrol TWS MOTORSPORT SAE 10W-60 vs. Formula RS 0W-40? both are Porsche certified.
