  1. hey Kam, I had that on my old Boxster and the bumper is identical to the orginal PU and perfect fit. but the only thing is to remind the painter to bake the bumper before painting! cheers, //T
  2. the wind deflector is an extra option, above 50km it is really good to have and IMO for a longer trip it is more or less a must when driving open.
  3. I found these on eBay from MTEC H7 55W 4350K, should give me close to my Philips D2S, right?
  4. @LVDell, what bulbs did you replaced them with, 4000°K? and which brand? @Pourscha, I think the Philips will give you +30% more light, and what will that be in watts? cheers, Tony
  5. hey v8 have you got any data from the unichip yet? I've just bought a pair of sport manifold and would be interested in such a add-in chip so you don't need to touch the original DME. cheers, Tony
  6. hey Pourscha, thx for the input, due to I have the MK1 model and only the Litronics/Xenon and not Bi-Xenon so for the High Beam it is using H7 bulbs so do the fog lights too. had a look into the PIAA bulbs, for H7 bulbs offered which rates the same 4000K as the mentioned Philips but cost $79,95 a pair. http://store.yahoo.com/rodi/pih7xtwhpltw.html and the Philips 4000K cost €13,00 per bulb by www.x-tuning.de so my question why this different in price between PIAA and Philips? cheers, //T
  7. hey guys, have read a lots of article about "Xenon perfect match" with High Beam/Fog Light for Litronic/Xenon Headlights. I have read that the Litrnics is equipped with Philips D2S bulbs with 4300° Kelvin, so my question is, would a Philips H7 "Blue Vision Ultra" 4000° Kelvin match the Litronic? cheers, //T
  8. I would recommend JEHNERT SOUND DESIGN they supplies the OEM speakers in the Porsche High Performance Audiosystem but half the price. cheers, Tony
  9. not really sure what they have done, they said it was "house special" and didn't want to reveale it. but they have definately opened it and modified it from inside, sounds great and the sound got even better now with the help of CDA.
  10. excellent choice, GT3 MK2 is also my favorits! friction - I would say you will get an awesome grip from stand-still acceleration and the friction on roll will propably impact Vmax. 235/35 front, will match the 295/30 at the back, due to balance it out for the narrow-body 996, for not getting to much over-stearing, that is propably the GT3 MK2 got the 235 up-front. cheers, Tony
  11. GT3 MK2 has now the same rim/tire size as the TT, 11Jx18 w/ 295/30. This the wider rims and tires will definate give the advantage in curves but will have a negative impact on straights. the GT3 has ca. 60hp more than the C2, so that propably isn't the biggest concerns for the GT3. I'm driving a set of rims from 4S/TT, 11Jx18 w/ 285 at the back and that feels excellent in the curves! IMO, why not getting that set of rims for that price! Do you already have the AeroKit on? cheers, Tony
  12. the cable for 79,- euro comes with software :clapping: ! OBD-2 ELM Tester ISO more info ps. if you connect such a cable/laptop, is there a risk damaging the DME/Motronic? cheers, Tony
  13. and I got the BMF Exhaust (Basic, Modified, Factory Exhaust) from PZ (Porsche Center) a sound check (8MB QuickTime movie) could be download here cheers, //T
  14. hey Loren, what do you think about this offer, 79,- euro? supplies by www.kds-online.com what OBD-2 protocol is it on our Porsche, ISO? cheers, Tony
  15. that's right, I get around 9,6L/100km (24,5mpg) but really average 11L/100km (21,4mpg).
  16. the car was tuned by Wicked Motorworks and they are charging the car for $79,000.00
  17. thx for the input, looks simple and easy to install. anyone have/had experience with Bahntech device? cheers, Tony
  18. hey all, anyone knows if there is a possible way to raise/lower the Cabrio Top with only one touch? cheers, Tony
  19. hey Ollie, the question is, what is it you really want, Optic or Performance? if it is for the Optic, I would recommend using Lowering Spring from e.g. H&R, Eibach, KW, etc. if it is for more performance, you have also lots of choices if you want 30mm lower, e.g. from KW Variant3, you will be able to do everything you want, Softer/Harder and Height. another option from Gert for the 3.4L is the Bilstein PSS9. or even cheaper option maybe to change back tires from 295/30 to 285/30 might fool the vision and feeling. cheers, Tony
  20. my 3.4L airbox only got the 1st section of holes on the left of shown pics. in your opinion, why would Porsche modify the airbox in that way? 3.6L need more air or sound? cheers, Tony
  21. haven't got around looking at my airbox from 3.4L but I have some thoughts though: ain't the holes letting lots of hot air into the engine? I know from my engine now when we have +20° outside temp. in the engine compartment is enormous heat! With hot air, bad performance so I'v heard. cheers, Tony
  22. Yes, the 11Jx18 ET45 rims will fit but to be safe I would go for the standard 285/30 x 18 tires on the rims due to the ET45 and the back fender arche. Note: it also depends on the tire Brands, Michelin 285/30 fits perfect, might getting some problem with PZero Rosso 285/30, cause they have seemly wide roll-area, meassured to 310mm. cheers, Tony
  23. hey WARDHOG, interesting, yours is a C4S, but I think 4S and the C2/4 uses the same engine and airbox or? Or is this airbox from >MY02 3.6L? I have to check mine (3.4L) at home, have that already dismounted. cheers, Tony
