    Mockeylock....Now there's a name that's a blast from the past from my VW days.... With regard to the Pressure monitor - massive props an a job well done. I wonder, have you had a chance to check the pressure with a gauge to see how accurate the display is?

    LOL, he did say it was a dream :D With regards to the 'dump pipes' - the Tequipment 986 Sports Exhaust has Actuators that automatically divert to the bypass pipes at 4K I think...

    IIRC, put the roof in the service position and there are two (possibly one) cross-head screw securing the light bar. Once removed, the back pops off and there are 7 or 8 501 bulbs in there - an ideal opportunity to upgrade them to LEDs!

    Bought in August at 104K. Bought because it had a new engine and gearbox at 100k! 4 months later I'm up to 114K...love driving it :)

    Great stuff - considerably thicker than stock...and curiously, the H&R bars are 'only' 22 and 26mm thick

    Fantastic - thanks Loren. I don't suppose anyone knows what the physical difference is between a stock stabiliser and the upgraded one?

    I'd wonder what the sound quality would be like? I'm about to get one of these: http://www.solisto.de/en/caraudio/solistoclassic You throw in a USB stick and create 6 folders, with a maximum of 99 tracks in each - and the head unit (a Becker Traffic Pro in my case) reads it as a 6-disc changer.

    As a 'all-in-one' solution from Porsche, what's included? - 4 x dampers, 4 x springs? Are thicker Anti-roll bars and bushes included? Any idea on their thickness? And finally (:)) is there any point in upgrading any of these components (for example, ditching the AR bars for H&R items?) Thanks for your help :)

    Will be doing an LED DRL mod shortly, but was wondering if there is a switched supply in the front trunk area I can tap into? Cheers

    Hello - Does anyone know if its possible to get new actuators for the Tequipment 986 'cross-eyed' Sports exhaust? Would love to know how it works as I'm pretty sure mine have failed, rattling when cold and constantly open, so was wondering if they can be repaired or the parts replaced.

    One of my many projects this winter will be to sort out the annoying rattles I've got - outside and inside. The suspension side of it is covered off, but I was wondering if anyone here has made a list of the most common areas from where rattles can emerge and their likely causes? So far I've got one behind the passenger dash airbag cover, something in the clocks area and some at the back of the drivers door. Can anyone shed some light? It's '01 986S with 109K miles BTW :)
