  1. I had my hard top on my boxster for two years with no problems.
  2. I just installed mine, but left two tiny dimples in the lid trying to break the **** thing off. I need to see how evident it looks in the daylight . I'll need to take it to the body shop to sand it down slightly and re spray it.
  3. My 996 turbo has this problem and I ordered a new gasket. It appears the gasket slides into a Chanel in the window trim piece around the top and sides of the window and around the window bottom. The window does not need removal for the rubber component but may need removal to replace the window trim. I am going to give it a shot replacing the gasket in the next few weeks. I was thinking or replacing the trim as well as I'm sure the window will not be moving and the trim does move towards the bottom of the window. I asked the dealer but they didn't know what was required to do the job just that it would cost 500, plus parts, and the cost of a new window if it needed to be removed and it broke. It sounds like they have nothing to do and need some business. Has anyone ever taken a stab at this?
  4. I can't speculate, but since you had all that oil spilling out it can't be good.
  5. Don't restart it. You may be ok if it was still running and never shut down on its own.
  6. I got it all working and I gotta say I love it. The install was fairly easy, but in the end it looks very close to oem. The euromotorspeed cage and bezel did the job.
  7. I just bought an avic 940 bt and have two questions, why is trill not connecting red to red and yellow to yellow. On my 2002 cdr220 the yellow wire is for the positive battery lead the same as the avic 940 and the red is for the accessory power. Second my avic 940 does not have a blue antenna wire in the RCA harness rather it only has a blue wire in the power harness for remote amp power. What do I do with the blue connector in the Porsche harness?
