  1. I'll try to respond again. This socket will not fit any other socket. I'am told by Sunset Porsche, that it is the latest and last to be offered. In order to install it you must get behind the dash trim and change out the OE unit. The dash plug is too large to fit the OE socket. If it was a simple as some suggested, I can assure all I would not waste this forums valuable time for direction. I'll ask elsewhere next time. Jack
  2. 99665210300A01 for a 2004 GT3 will not fit the previous socket unit. I
  3. May I have the torque values for the three nuts on the front strut mount? Thanks, Jack
  4. LVDell, How many times do I need to say, this delete kit is not just a plastic plug! But, thanks anyway. Jack
  5. Eric, the plug guy, told me how to remove the trim. You need to get behind the dash trim to remove the lighter unit and then install the delete socket. Thanks to Eric, Loren, and to the skeptic LVDell. Jack
  6. On a GT3, you will get a CEL, if you remove the cats. It may not be worth the small gain of weight less and less restriction. Consider a complete exhaust system...Europipe.
  7. Something is rattling at the front driver's side. It does not sound or feel like the sway bar. I need to remove the tray. What is the proper way to remove the clips? Thanks, Jack
  8. The unit I have (99665210300A01), allows you to use your OE maintainer. It's a plug with a image of a cigarette in a circle crossed out, no element. So I need to remove the trim plate and then the socket. How do I remove the full trim piece?
  9. How do I remove the lighter from the dash, then install the Ashtray delete lighter plug? Thanks, Jack
  10. Does the OEM tire jack (996 721 211 00) for the 996 Turbo or Boxster fit the GT3? Will it clear the aero rocker panels?
  11. I installed a BMC air filter in the OEM box. If you use the chone, be aware of rain water entering the engine....
