  1. I also have Space saver spare (with same tire size "185/60/17" but my space save (collapsed) sits 21" tall and the back wall in my trunk (2007 997 C4S) is only 20" tall but in your pics the spare seems to sit way lower??
  2. Guess I got thrown because I started looking in the 997-1 Maintenance forums, and there were only two topics, both unrelated to brakes. There's a wealth of stuff in the 997-1 forums; I just didn't bother to go beyond the first coupla pages. I'll mic my rotors this weekend, and I also need to find the minimum pad thicknesses before I attend a local high performance driving class in May. For a 997-1 S: New pad thickness should be 12.0 mm both front and rear. Minimum wear thickness 2 mm. Personally, I would would not a track a car with less than 4 mm. Are these the same specs for a 2007 997.1 C4S?
  3. Hello All, A few months ago I completed my Porsche (90%) OEM Sirius Satellite Radio install in my 07' 997 C4S Cab. With work and summer family vacations/activities/etc... I had to postpone documenting my install as a DIY. Well I finally got the time complete the document. A big thank you to Ric at Suncoast for all of his help and patience with my "science project"... ;-) As the document is too larger (due to pictures) I have posted it for download (for free, just wait it out for a few seconds) at the following site: Download DIY Link: http://rapidshare.com/files/42279771...io_Install.pdf __________________ 2007 C4S Cab (Artic Silver/Black), 6-Spd CDC, Dension GW500 (iPod), Tooki (BT), Nav, Bose, V-1, OEM Porsche Sirius Satellite Radio "You gotta respect the Porsche" (Adam Sandler)
  4. Which particular model Hankook tires did you buy/recommend as replacements? I have a 07' 997 C4S
  5. Hardtop Scratched the body after removal! HELP! This evening I removed my hardtop for the season and could not believe the scratches it left behind all the way down to the bare metal! (See pics below) Anyone have any insights on what went wrong?? Pic 1 = Scratches made by hardtop on body/Cab cover Pic 2 = Underside of Hardtop (rear right area). Three spots that rubbed/scratched as shown in PIC 1 My hardtop been retro-fit with "screw" style mounting hardware.
  6. I have an 07' C 4S Cab w/ Nav and looking to get updated map data. Is there anythiogn special I have to do "update" the system or can I just remove old Map DVD & replace with new & go? Thanks
