  1. Hi there, I got my hardtop last night. Took it for a drive and it felt secure and there was no wind blowing through it. I was just wondering though will I need to adjust it? because at the rear of the hardtop base it has a 15mm gap to the underside of hardtop to boxster surface..is that correct or too much gap? The hardtop did seem to fit okay but I am a bit unsure if the gap at the rear should be reduced and the gap at the side of windows be reduced also. Does anyone know how to adjust this 25kgs monster? cheers.
  2. I have a 98 boxster and have read alot of the threads which are very helpful. The drivers side cable is not driving and I think I need a new one...it only drives when my dad holds it in and I press the convertible button. The roof is up and latched in position (open light is still on dash display). When I go to open the roof/rear compartment it just makes a buzzing sound and refuses to open(has one side popped out of its socket?) I want to attack the situation myself and change the cable...to save costs and time...can this be done on my own.? thank you
  3. why people buy strut braces on any boxster is so stupid and a waste of money.
  4. dont waste your money..chips dont work on boxsters.
  5. coolent problems on the boxster cause so many problems..it certainly has hit my wallet hard.
  6. Hi there, I have just joined this site. I also have this problem on the 98 boxster. I was going to get it looked at by the opc but they will charge a fortune in labour to strip down things and find out where the short circuit is. The wing mirror problem I solved by uncliping the side housing and just wiggling the wires and it worked...I think there was a bit of water in there. The demisting button I still dont know whats wrong with it and its not causing any problems so I have left it.
