  1. hello, I have an 05 cayenne turbo and im looking to purchase a cam shaft adjustment tool to replace my cam shafts and chains. Anybody know where I can get one?
  2. not sure anyone in Buffalo NY has a PIWIS tester besides the dealer.
  3. thank you very much! looks like it's dealer time... UUUGGGhh lol
  4. After replacing the ECM for my 05 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, I noticed it starts for a second then quits. Does the ECM have to be reprogrammed by PIWIS or can I use My Durametric cable?
  5. I still have this code coming up still trying to figure it out.
  6. I have a code p0344 for the cam sensor angle and I just replaced both sensors and my durametric says "- - -" for deviation angle on cam sensor for bank one. I checked the phase wheel and it looks in good shape. The other sensor shows "8.00" I also checked the wire harness for corrosion on bank one and it was clean. Could it be the PCM? I have an 05 Porsche cayenne turbo
  7. forgot to mention that all work was checked with Durametric equipment and the cam sensor had zero signal.
  8. 05 Porsche cayenne turbo. 145 - right rear damping adjustment valve. strut or level sensor? I also checked the wire harness on the level sensor and no corrosion was found. p0299 turbo under boost. p0344 no signal with bank 1 cam sensor. I had replaced the cam sensor a year ago and checked the reluctor wheel, wheel was OK.
  9. I use 18 in the winter with winter snows and 20 in the summer with summer high performance tires.
  10. I need a spare tire for my 05 turbo. Would a 17" space saver from a base cayenne fit? I have 350mm rotors.
  11. My amp shuts off once in a while and I have to restart it from the radio. any ideas? Alpine radio, MOST HUR.
  12. hmm ok. There was a time when I was at below normal setting and wanted to see if it will lower any more when I hit speed of around 130mph and it didn't. Just curious.
  13. Is it normal for the vehicle to raise itself up when you drive over 15 MPH when you have the vehicle lowered to it's lowest setting and also isn't it supposed to lower all the way down when you reach a high speed limit of about 100mph? I have a 05 cayenne turbo.
  14. thank you very much!! im going to tackle this by the spring time. :notworthy:
  15. royx where can I get that special tool to do that timing calibration? I have the same code coming up p0016 and I have to open up the front to replace the chains and tensioners. sorry to change the subject.
  16. thanks gardin. I know the starter is an easy job when I had taken the intake off to see if my coolant pipes were upgraded to aluminum and luckily they were. I just needed a piece of mind to carry a spare starter or alternator with me on my road trip just in case.
  17. I'm going on a long trip and im worried about my alternator going when im in the middle of knowhere of the good ol USA. Are these altrernators water cooled and what does it take to replace it if I have to. was thinking of keeping a spare one in my trunk and a starter too. I know those are much easier to replace.
  18. I want to use "Engine Restorer and lube" to add in my oil. I know the cylinders are made of some zinc coating and was wondering if it will hurt it or improve it. I'm a daily driver with my 05 cayenne turbo, winter and summer.
  19. it seems like everything is intact. it can shift up once in a great while but I have to still use my tiptronic shifter to shift past second gear.
  20. Has anyone ever used that Restore engine treatment with a cayenne turbo?
  21. I really dont mind the weight, I just want a longer powerful battery. I tried a bosch battery and when I went to a drive in, I had to start my vehicle every ten to fifteen minutes lol. I just thought the xs would be better than a OE battery. I had a 110ah when I bought the Cayenne and want to replace it with the same or equivalent battery but nobody sells it but the dealer. oh well.
