    Hello folks, I have a 2001 986 boxster with the Becker CDR 220 radio, amp, dash speakers, door subs, and rear speaker kit. I do not have the boise sound system. I would like to add factory navigation and found a PCM 2 unit on ebay 996.642.234.02. My question is about if it is possible to make the conversation to this nav unit. Since this is PCM 2 does that mean it wouldnt work with the amp? If it is possible what other parts do I need such as a GPS antenna? Thanks Aarron

    Thanks for the great information. I would appreciate information on purchasing your door enclosures. Are they a direct replacement for the factory ones? I was planning on replacing the front speakers with a component system from Pioneer, their Stage 4 set. In your opinion would this be appropriate? Any idea if they would fit due to the depth issue with the Boxster? Do you recommend something else for the doors and dash speakers? I have a 2001 boxster and I recently added the rear speaker kit recomended here by many of the users.

    Experts....please help I recently purchased a 2001 Boxster. With help from you guys I found the kit I needed to add rear speakers and when I removed the radio you guys were there for me with the radio code. I would like to install factory seat heaters. I found the switches on ebay and now need to find a kit for everything else. I saw the web page of the gentlemen who has the step by step do it yourself, but I was hoping someone knew of a OEM kit I could purchase like the rear speaker kit. I have spoken with local shops that install aftermarket seat warmers and none of them will use the factory switches I purchased. They are confused by the connectors on the bottom of the switches. I could use some help on a kit, and a wiring diagram for the switches. I really would like to keep my car stock. I also considered buying new seats, especially ones with the seat warmer and driver memory, but I assume I would still have wiring to do since each boxster comes with a harness specific to the options purchased.     I'm adding the rear speaker kit and the instructions said I would need the radio code after disconnecting the battery. Here is my info: type: CDR - 220 model: BE 4462 Serial #:Y5044624 Thanks Aarron
