  2. 2003 tt WP1ZZZ9PZ4LA82953 hi guys I finally bit the bullet and replaced my valve body because of the 5th to 4th hard downshift but I was also experiencing problems when slowing from 3rd to 2nd .now the valve body has been correted its easy to see the transfer case is on its way out it sounds like the clutch is grabbing and releasing at very slow speeds ,pulling away etc its sounds like straight gears .my question is what are my options for buying ,I would prefer a recon unit because of the expense ,is it compatible with any other model touareg etc?
  3. 2003 tt Hi guys I was reading somewhere that we can change the headlight beam direction from r/h/d to l/h/d ,but for some reason I cant find it now, is this true ? as I own a uk car but I live in Europe ,the drivers on the other side of the road would be very appreciative ..
  4. hi guys its looks like my valve body finally crapped out on my 2003 tt I have ordered a recon valve body, but what I would like to know is roughly how transmission oil should I buy in liters please and is the atf 3309 the only choice or am I wrong thanks..

I had the same problem with mine the gears had stripped so i removed the connector from the seat and installed on the back of the light before winding it back ,at least i knew the plug was in properly , i had to break the small plastic pieces from the front of the connector seat first but it did the trick . the painters screwed up the gears .

  7. hi thanks for the fast reply I have had my cayenne for over a year it has been happening since I purchased it is very hard downshift when using a heavy foot when I release the power it gives me a jolt I have been reading a lot of information about this but most of the companies dealing with this are in the us ,as I am stuck in Romania I would like to find a place closer..
  8. 2003 cayenne turbo hi guys it seems that I gave the dreaded transmission valve body problem ,she changes hard from 4th to 5th on heavy acceleration ,does anyone know where I can purchase a new one ( refurbished ) or I understand that maybe changing the switches might fix the problem ,as usual any help gratefully received ...
  9. hi guys has anyone tried waterless coolant ?,i was just thinking because all the trouble we have with plastic coolant pipes it might be a better option than replacing them ,i had mine done about 6 months ago but im sure i would have looked into waterless coolant if i had known about it..
  10. hi can anyone tell me if the metal trim around the windows is aluminum or stanless steel ?
  11. try pulling the insert out a bit at the bottom and it should drop down a little further ,it works for me i replaced mine with a carbon fiber one ...
  12. i changed mine out 3 months ago the main difference is that the new pipes are aluminum colored not black..
  13. i think that if the coolant pipes had been done the seller would have told you as it is a great selling point..
  14. 2003 ctt hi guys my blue tooth finally arrived and now i need to install it as i said in my previous thread the denison 500 was installed next to the cd changer in the rear so i need to route the microphone to the drivers front i think next to the sunroof and interior lights ,or maybe on the right side of the windsceen blind im not sure yet but im guessing i need to pull the headliner somewhat or the side pillers where the airbags are,any help or insight ,i would be gratefull...
  15. hi giuys i have just had my car resprayed because of peeling laquer ,but thats another story,they removed all the glass lights trim etc and it came out really nice .but for some reason my headlight indicator is intemitant now ,which is a pain in the ***,i tried removing it and checking the contacts ,but it still only working sometimes ,my question is where else can i check ? because they removed all the lights is there another place i e side indicators that is connected to the headlight indicator ? or something like that ,i should be enjoying a great paint job for awhile and not being depressed by a dodgy light ..
  16. hi guys anyone else on here think that the steering wheel on the first generation cayennes is a little bit thin around the grip? are there any alternatives?
