  1. Great!!! Lewis you remember what i said?! the bad running started after they changed my valve cover and spark plug gasket. Maybe here is a hidden reason for the trouble
  2. Was driving to my garage to try to fix this issue. Suddenly it was working without problems. I dont understand why. I will see if this failure is coming back. I have no explanation for this phenomen.
  3. Me. Weller is the real treasure for this forum!!!
  4. I had a Cayenne on the street for a very long time without driving. Battery very poor. The first things which are getting crazy during turning the key first time. Rear hatch. PSM light. In my case the problem is a weak battery
  5. Rain/ electric problems... i assume you already investigate if there is water somewhere inside your car?! The typical problem under the floor mats driver side / passenger side.
  6. mine looks terrible. Somebody before try to repair something here. Maybe this could be part of my problem.
  7. Some time ago the picture from the area close to the driver side turbo charger was posted. See below the pic with the arrow. Is this the hose 14/ 15 ? If yes, is a replacement possible without taking away a lot of stuff? I need to replace mine.
  8. lewis... the pipe is not leaking. Just when i blow into this pipe, air is coming out at the air hose which is connected to air filter box. Is this usual?
  9. I am talking about the part under the headlight. Its just klicked in. Squeeze it a little bit and you can take it out. Be careful.
  10. Which model is your car? take out the front grill. You will have access from there.
  11. Dont know exactly but take away all the black beauty plastic covers arround and try from behind to see what is going on there
  12. in some way i believe you are fighting with a air leak somewhere. Like me. If you ruled out MAF, coiles and plugs the only way is to check all this places: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche-Cayenne/69-FUEL-Fixing_Common_Vacuum_Leaks/69-FUEL-Fixing_Common_Vacuum_Leaks.htm
  13. Here is onother question. I replaced today the pressure line (9+10 on the diagramm) which is going from n75 valve to the turbo. Dont know what it does?! I blow into the pipe and i hear the air coming out on the air duct which is connected to the air filter box. Is this right?
  14. After you put everything together again its necessary to make a throttle adaption. Very easy. Switch on ignition WITHOUT Start dont touch any pedal. wait for one minute. You will hear the adaption process in the engine bay. Some klick klack possible to hear. after switch OFF start the engine like usual
  15. Good Morning, the hose coming from intercooler going into y pipe should be fitted with 2! clamps each side. How is your y pipe looking inside? Oil? Dry!
  16. This pic is from lewis. Showing the manifold from behind. No. 3 is the connection where your venturi tube has to go to.
  17. Here you see the tube. Going along the fuel rail to a connection into the intake manifold on the back of the engine. Take away the black engine cover on the firewall. Disconnect the passenger side air pump and you will have a very good access to this area
  18. Yes this venturi tube should be better connected . Its a friggle thing. Try to disconnect the y pipe to find out where this oil spray is coming from.
  19. Just my impression: Depends on different circumstances. Driving style, temperature etc. i need about 1 liter per 1000 km :-)
  20. By the way, i would like to have a look behind the steering rack cover. Is it a big deal to take it away?
  21. I just read in a german forum about a guy who had similar problems. He is a bosch specialist. He was hunting for the problem and found. I will translate and send you. Maybe it will help you too
