  8. On every Cayenne which i had it was always trouble with This small connection which is near the intake pipe. On the picture here seen as red. Is there any possibility to replace it with some aftermarket pressure hose? I have a constant overboost code in my code reader and as hahn pointed out it could be together with some false reading because there is something wrong with the vacuum lines. Any help is welcome.
  9. I am glad you found the problem. Are you talking about this parts? Found it in onother forum: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/cayenne-955-957/18559-hyperboost-hx-diverter-valves-installed.html
  10. The wiring sub-assemblies come in left and right and Halogen or Xenon. I need to know which headlight (Halogen or Xenon)? Also, some of the early cars need to be ordered by VIN - so please PM me your VIN also. I have send you my vin. Thank you
  11. Loren its not exact the same topic but would like to ask you if you have a name/ part number for this headlight Wire string. Mine looks terrible and i belive thats alsoa reason for headlight problems. Thank you.
  12. I still dont believe it the water pump. Sounds much more serious. Are you driving the car? Any sign of smoke when you starting? Did you check your oil level? Anything missing? How is the knocking when your engine is cold and how it sounds when its warm?
  13. Dont want to scare you but this issue every Cayenne owner is worried about. If you search here for piston slap or scored cylinder you will find a lot of messages. This noise i am very familar with. It happens with my first cayenne s. Solution is: you will have to rebuilt the engine. No need to say this is expensive. In which country you are located?
  14. Because i never was very happy with the look i decided now to install my lowering links. Just about 100 USD for all four wheels. Not very difficult to install. I like it and the ride Quality is the same like before. Handling on the street feels better.
  15. I am very sorry to say but thats not the water pump. This is a piston slap already.
  16. I found the reason. Disconnecting the engine cover drivers side. Access to the release cable. Lots of WD40 and problem is gone
  17. Please ask the guy here. He replaced his front strut. Good luck http://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-cayenne-forum/901129-klunky-noise-from-front-wheel-2.html
