  1. I have a exhaust muffler for my turbo which i want to install. I would like to try to do this job by myself. There is just one question open and i would like to ask your advice. The exhaust Pipes are 70 mm in diameter. What is the diameter of the original Pipes? The rear end pipe tips are 70 mm too. What would be the best way to connect them? Thank you !!!
  2. I realy dont know. But for me it looks strange that there is a big access to the cabin.
  3. Hello everybody! I am still observing the frequent water Problem i have. Passenger side under the plastic trim, close to the ECU is a Black Container / Reservoir . I took away the cover and found there a drain hole. But i also found a very big hole which is a Passage to the cabin. This should not be usual. I try with a Cup of water what is going to happen. Of course the water came directly to the carpet. For shure there Must be a closing mechanism which is missing here. Your advice is welcome. Please check the pictures.
  4. Today suddenly the left side blow hot air. Right side still cold. Strange
  5. Check this. Should help you with the fixes: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche-Cayenne/49-WATER-Water_Pump_Replacement/49-WATER-Water_Pump_Replacement.htm
  6. Hello to Belgium! Thank you for this advice. Where can i find the heater core? By the way, i remember there was some kind of valve: "there is a valve, that separates the air outlet that goes into your glovebox, which is always cold during winter, and uses the cooled air when the air temp outside is warm. That valve can be a faulty valve in your case, which causes the cold air to be released into the cabin"
  7. Same Problem here. My CS stay in the Garage for many weeks. Now i wanted to make a test drive. No warm air at all on both sides. Before It was working very well. Any idea except the fuse? Where is the heating valve located? Could it be the reason? Thank you
  8. Hi ! I dont know how they connect the Lines. I will do the same with my turbo in the next days and try to make pictures. So you can see how it works. This Fluid Changing Equipment has special Adapters for every model.

  10. No no i still have my cayenne's I had a Chance to Talk to a Guy from ZF. He explain me that specially Heavy cars, Vehikels with high torque have very bad Fluid quality after some years. Every mercedes service Point is offering this Procedere. Almost every Taxi service is doing this on all cars now. I am really Impressed by the results.
  11. Hi all! Because Transmission Problems with a Cayenne is a common subject, i would like to Share my experience. I dont know if Flushing Transmissions is a well known process overseas, i will write some words about this here. When i was going to change my Fluid, the service Guy asked me why i just change the oil. He explain to me what does it mean to Flush a transmission. Because i had the same Problems like many orhers here, hard shifting, Crazy up and down shifting during hard drive, i decided to try the Flushing . What i can say, the Vehikel run very smooth now.. Here is s link which is showing the Process in Youtube:
  12. I changed the spark plugs on my turbo this weekend. 144.000 km. Looks like it was the Original Set. Does the colour tell anything about the Health of the engine? Thank you
  13. For Transmission for my Cayenne S they used : http://www.fuchslubricants.com/titan-atf-4400 It feels like new
  14. I believe the first thing you should try is a test if your alternator is producing enough power. I bought a little device which you can connect to the lighter or any other socket. If the car is running and you dont have minimum 12.90 or more you need to check the system
  15. Check the dipstick regular. Dont Trust all this Warning Lights.
  16. http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/46169-alternator-generator-battery/?fromsearch=1 Please check this
  17. When same things started on my car it ended with the replacement of alternator. Try to messure how strong is your battery and how much does your alternator Produce
  18. Some time ago i Posted this in onother thread: These days i found a old Statement from Loren where he is writing about CAN Network problems which could cause strange display messages. He noted to take out fuse # 40 for a moment . Try this an check if the light is coming back. Same time Monitor the Oil Level regular via dipstick
