  1. Thanks for this information. If its not bad for my battery i will leave it like it is.
  2. I will ask the porsche guys with my next visit. I can stay with the light. Its not that bad. Just was thinking about battery. Worst is the roof. I will try to take it apart on weekend.
  3. I checked the display and all options. Nothing . My display looks Different from what i see in the manual. No light option. Strange.
  4. Hi Maybe stupid question but what means WP? Where is sitting the idler pulley? Thank you
  5. Sorry, wrong wording! I ment of course the PIWIS. The equipment the porsche shops are working with. According your message i should try to get this durametric thing. I dont have it yet. Any time i have a problem (and i had many many with my cayenne s) i go to this forum or to the porsche service. Of course all in all a very expensive story on the last 2 years. Thank you for your help!!!
  6. I found a very nice and detailled write up how to lower the PIG with durametric. I hope the person who wrote it will not be mad at me that i place it here. Thank you to him! http://www.photobykent.com/downloads/cayenne/Durametric-Cayenne-Lowering_Tutorial_V2.pdf
  7. Thank you. I understand from your message its a easy job for a porsche service guy to do it via durametric tool. I will ask them. Thank you
  8. Thanks Loren. Just wanted to save space and money. I guess for my pana roof problem there is no answer. There is nobody out there with similar problems. Thanks god. The point with the light i guess is a failure . Or maybe the previous owner Asked a mechanic to reprogramm it. I cant believe there is no way to drive without light. Just would be nice to get advice how to lower the car a little bit.
  9. Unfortunatelly no answer. Can somebody advise How to delete this thread?
  10. Great work. Thankx! Interesting to see that these additives dont keep the promises on the bottle
  11. As i wrote some time ago, i was thinking about to get onother PIG. I had to take it because i guess for this money it was a real opportunity. The car is ok so far. Some small things i have to do, but nothing serious i found. The only problem is the panoramic roof . The wind deflector dont want to close. The spacers i have to change, because wheels are a bit far out. I like the air suspention, the stand at loading level looks really nice. Unfortunatelly the low level which is for driving is much higher. Does someone know how to bring it a little bit more down? Onother question i have about the light options. The switch has 3 levels. Off, parking light, driving light. But, even if the knob is off, during driving the lights are working. I enclose some pics, sorry the car is dirty.
  12. I read it already. There is just a person with the same problem who disconnected all parts. This is the last what i wanted to do:-(
  13. Hello to everybody As mentioned some days ago i went to buy a Cayenne Turbo S from 2005 Everything ok so far. I am still in the period to get used to it. Its almost the same than my Cayenne S. Just one problem i have and would like to ask your advice: My panoramic roof had worked proper but now suddenly the draft deflector doesnt move at all. It isnt closed completely, stays some mm higher than it should be when its closed. I try the learning process and everything what is written in the manual. Nothing helps to make the deflector even moving. It is stuck in this position. If someone has a idea what i could try, will be glad. Thank you
  14. Thank you very much to all of you. Thank you for your input. I will take the car. Even the 2 pairs of original porsche rims are worth the deal. Car looks great . Very clean. Just got new brakes some time ago. I will report later with some pics. A very last question. Until now i only drove cayennes without air suspension. This one have. How can i check that it is working proper? Thanks , thomas
  15. Thank you for your comment. The car is a good offer because the new model is already waiting for the previous owner
  16. Good Morning Dear Forum Members, i have a offer to buy a nice Cayenne Turbo S. Model 06/ 2005 about 85.000 miles clean service history no any damages or dents car is full loaded with everything what was possible. + 20 inch Porsche rims with Winter wheels + 22 inch Porsche rims with summer wheels it is about USD 17.000 the only concern i have is the engine noise. i know these engines are running rough every time. i dont have experience with turbos. what you think about this offer? any help from your side is welcome. Thank you , Thomas IMG_0067.MOV
  17. Hi. I had almost the same problems over a long period of time. Porsche changed so many parts, a lot of money. But the error came nack again and again. In the end - i hope - it is an electric problem. The Durametic did show many different codes but i believe in this case the checking system just gets confused and showing something. Check your vehikel for electric problems. Battery. If battery is ok check all aftermarket installations if there any which touching the cars electric
  18. You can buy key fobs from other cars or new ones. As i know doesnt matter. You have to change the metal part from your key to the new fob and ask dealer to program it to the cars software. I saw it one how they do it with a software like PIWIS. Takes some time but this is the easy solution for you
  19. I cant believe that your porsche dealer is right. I bought a additional pair of key fobs just in case i lost one or some is not working. Took the car to the dealer for REPROGRAMMING the new keys. They ask about 180 euro per key. The fobs you can find for 60 to 100 euro. I believe its much more easy than your dealer try to tell you
