  1. Hello to everybody As mentioned some days ago i went to buy a Cayenne Turbo S from 2005 Everything ok so far. I am still in the period to get used to it. Its almost the same than my Cayenne S. Just one problem i have and would like to ask your advice: My panoramic roof had worked proper but now suddenly the draft deflector doesnt move at all. It isnt closed completely, stays some mm higher than it should be when its closed. I try the learning process and everything what is written in the manual. Nothing helps to make the deflector even moving. It is stuck in this position. If someone has a idea what i could try, will be glad. Thank you
  2. Thats a good advice. Thank you. I will report later.
  3. Thank you very much to all of you. Thank you for your input. I will take the car. Even the 2 pairs of original porsche rims are worth the deal. Car looks great . Very clean. Just got new brakes some time ago. I will report later with some pics. A very last question. Until now i only drove cayennes without air suspension. This one have. How can i check that it is working proper? Thanks , thomas
  4. Thank you for your comment. The car is a good offer because the new model is already waiting for the previous owner
  5. Good Morning Dear Forum Members, i have a offer to buy a nice Cayenne Turbo S. Model 06/ 2005 about 85.000 miles clean service history no any damages or dents car is full loaded with everything what was possible. + 20 inch Porsche rims with Winter wheels + 22 inch Porsche rims with summer wheels it is about USD 17.000 the only concern i have is the engine noise. i know these engines are running rough every time. i dont have experience with turbos. what you think about this offer? any help from your side is welcome. Thank you , Thomas IMG_0067.MOV
  6. Hi. I had almost the same problems over a long period of time. Porsche changed so many parts, a lot of money. But the error came nack again and again. In the end - i hope - it is an electric problem. The Durametic did show many different codes but i believe in this case the checking system just gets confused and showing something. Check your vehikel for electric problems. Battery. If battery is ok check all aftermarket installations if there any which touching the cars electric
  7. You can buy key fobs from other cars or new ones. As i know doesnt matter. You have to change the metal part from your key to the new fob and ask dealer to program it to the cars software. I saw it one how they do it with a software like PIWIS. Takes some time but this is the easy solution for you
  8. I cant believe that your porsche dealer is right. I bought a additional pair of key fobs just in case i lost one or some is not working. Took the car to the dealer for REPROGRAMMING the new keys. They ask about 180 euro per key. The fobs you can find for 60 to 100 euro. I believe its much more easy than your dealer try to tell you
  9. They told me they check already all ground points. After i was in the shop to have this checked i could drive 2 weeks and 1500 km without problem. Now this problemnis coming back
  10. Great . Thank you very much. I will try and report what i found.
  11. I want to check the car for electric problems. Like to go to The section under passenger side carpet because It was wet there one year ago. I can see a thin plastic cover there. Anybody know how to open This to check the inside. Or will i find the sensitive wires under The seat? Thank you
  12. I will replace the battery for a new one tomorrow and see what happens.
  13. After having all the time PSM problems now finaly the car give up completely looks like. Wanted to drive today. Not even doors are opening. Manual open by key. First attemp to start. Nothing. Playing a little bit with the key and car runs. But a little bit rough. How is this possible? Yesterday no problems and today the car almost sleeps. No signs of life. Battery just 8 weeks old. When i turn key the meter is showing arround 12 v. When car runs i have 14. I was thinking what the heck i did what could cause this breakdown of electric power. Nothing special. Just i remember that i swichted off the center intereur light yesterday evening. I know maybe you are tired about my random problems and my comments here but i am tired too. Even my porsche mechanic is scratching his head because they dont know what to look for. Thankx for any help. I will replace the
  14. One question please which is touching almost the same point. I got my drive belt replaced some weeks ago. Before not any noise. Now its making the same scary noise like describe above. Porsche is telling me, thats the new belt. That cant be right in m.o. Noise from the belt you just hear if you drive the car up from 2500 rpm. If you park and rev up to 2500 or more there is nothing to hear. Thank you
  15. Update...... I took the car from porsche service. Piwis show failure in throttle body again but this part is already new. I understand piwis is not the right tool to get rid of this frustrating problem. Problem. Piwia is just showing errors in parts which are new or almost new. They checked almost every ground point at the car because somebody told me this could be a problem. They checked alternator. Brake light switch is new. I could drive more than 1000 km without any problem last weeks. Today again. PSM workshop and engine running a little bit rough. Left it on parking lot for all day. At evening car starts and runs without. Problem and no PSM warning on the display. I called porsche. They are frustrated as much as i am. I am affraid to drive . Impossible situation. I am ready to give the car away.
  16. Wow. You keep your books. I stopped this long time ago. This is a 2,6 tonn vehikel and i guess you cant bring it down more.
  17. I would say both. I was driving about 700 km from one stop to next. But i need to calculate exactly
  18. Just can repeat what i wrote before. After i got new fuel pumps the results improved in many ways. Engine feels more strong and the liters per km dropped a lot . I just made a trip to belgium, some hundred of kilometers highway driving. Average speed between 120 and 160 km/h. Fuel consumption is until now 13,7 liters per 100 km
  19. Thank you for answering so fast. Can i find somewhere a diagramm which is explaining how to find all this points?
  20. Loren how many ground points does this car have and how can i find them? Thank you.
  21. The car is at porsche service point. They checked battery and alternator. Everything ok. One guy told me it could be some electrical problem which is coming from moisture. But very difficult to find the location. Any idea? Thank you
  22. I would like to learn what is behind this failure. I thought if a part is damaged its not working. But this car is sometimes driving and sometimes not. Sometimes thousand km without PSM complaint and sometimes nonstop. What is this?
  23. What can i do. They are trustful people. I believe. I dont think they change parts which are not neccessary to change. What is surprising me really is the fact that piwis show codes at MAF . They change the part but car continue to show same behaviour. I thought piwis is piwis. Checking the system means checking the complete system. From your last message i understand, checking transmission and PSM is a different process?!
  24. Hi Loren. To be honest i dont know. Its a porsche service center and i believe they should know what to do and what to look for. I bring the car. Explaining what happens and the rest is their job
