  1. Its actually easier to remove the plastic front bracket held in by the torx bolts than trying to turn the allen key locks.
  2. Does anyone know how many Boxster 'S' were made in 2004 in Atlas Grey for the US market?
  3. Does anyone out there have details of what the price of the limited edition 'orange' Boxster S is going to cost??
  4. The PCA do run DE events in this area, check this link below: http://www.cvrpca.org/cvrhome.php
  5. Does anyone know the best high temp color match for the Red 'S' calipers, to match the original powder coating ??
  6. So a question for you all, in the spirit of the OBC hack etc. Can the addition of a sport button and the wiring plus the enabling of SPORT with the PIWIS, could this add the sport functions ie The more responsive throttle etc ???
  7. Does the display turn off after you lock the car?
  8. I have a PST2 with both the OBD-II lead and the older upto 1995 lead. I am located near Greenwich, CT PM me on here, PPBB or BOXa.net (all Nick_usa)
  9. My dampers are fine, when I say 'harder' what I mean is you can feel the bumps more and you correctly state this is due to the increased leverage that the wheel/hub assembly has. The other thing a driver may notice, especially on worn blacktop roads is it is more likely to 'tram line' ie it tracks the slight hollows that the traffic has worn in the road which are more noticeable with a wider track. I still like the ride all the same.
  10. I think I paid roughly $225 for the 5mm spacers, which come with longer wheel studs, a must from a safety point of view. The looks on the car arent that much different, but the ride is harder and more suited for the track. ps They are easy to self install.
  11. Check out the instructions on the B&M website for installing their short shifter. I would also add mask off the front corners and areas near the seat belt clips on the console with painters tape, you can also remove, not just the front storage bins but also the frame for more access, but above all else be very patient.
  12. Has anyone got the pin outs for the instrument cluster plugs, especially plug C (the green one) for a 2004 Boxster S. (including wire colors if possible) regards and thanks in advance
  13. Check of the interactive catalogue. It now links the PET to there product list. (No I do not get paid by them, I just seem to buy lots from them!)
  14. Several have appeared both laptop and kts versions on ebay, some even from the US
  15. This maybe the answer for you I discovered this whilst fitting a short shift kit: Try Here
  16. VW (Yes VW) part number 000.979.010 (It is a wire with a pin either end)
  17. Just a thought, your tires were new and you did have a full tank of gas, didn't you ???
  18. Also had this same problem on my wifes 2000 996. We were lucky as the warranty was still good for the work.
  19. There are no special gas struts for the aerokit the original part number is 986 512 551 01 (x2)
  20. SURFLEX is the product you should use. They do all the porsche interior colors and if you want to match a color faded leather they offer a matching service.
