  1. tried that with no luck. i did test the battery and it was down to 448 cca, so i plan to get a new one and go from there.
  2. I am hoping someone can assist; Car (06 CTTS) was dormant for 3 months when i went out of town for "2 weeks"... upon return, i charged the battery but have no functioning a/c (4 zone) I had a chance to hook up the durametric today and was given the following; 1592, air quality sensor 565, a/c regulator control module no signal/communication I ran the self test. it was vague as to any results on the durametric, but all doors and fans appeared to function correctly. I cleared the codes, still no go. ran through the service manual, running out of time i skipped a little and it basically is telling me that the rear control module may be faulty. Hoping for some constructive input (Loren!) part numbers for both (i couldnt find either on pelican or sunset) and is the module a common issue/repairable? what about the a/q sensor? its too hot to drive the pig without a/c :( TIA!
  3. i am having some a/c issues as well but just started on my diagnosis. the first thing i bought after buying the cayenne (06 CTTS) was a durametric setup. I checked my system for pressure and it was good so i connect the durametric and got 2 codes (nothing on the dash informed me of this) 1592, air quality sensor and 565, a/c regulator control module no signal or communication. THe self test done by the duremetric didnt mention it but all other aspects of my hvac system are fine. i did clear them and run another self test but still no cooling... I am researching now as well as looking at the repair manual... You should get a durametric... i will try to remember to post something on mine when fixed.
  4. Great tutorial, would just add other places to buy; ebay ~$145 for the pair of hatch struts, $16-31 for glass struts. ECStuning, ~$170 for the kit including new foam panels. i went ebay before i knew ecs had them :(
  5. no experience on a cayenne but its likely one of the mounts has failed or come loose. just get under and take a look, grab it (cold of course) and try shaking it, that should narrow down the problem.
