  1. As some of you guys might know I did an oil change after only about 10 miles due to my suspicion that the indy mech. had filled my car with 5W-30 instead of 0W-40. After draining my oil, I noticed that there were metal flakes in the drained oil.. they look kinda squareish like glitter... silver in color... is this ok? My car only has 7200 miles on it!
  2. I just got my car filled w/ 5W-30 from a mechanic, however per the manual, this viscocity is only for 50 degrees F. and lower... I have to get the oil changed again!
  3. I just got my car back from the mechanic and they filled my car with 5w-30, is this OK? It is Castrol Syntec 5W-30, should I drain it? Should I have brought my own Mobil 1 0W-40 oil to the shop w/ me? Help, will I destroy my engine?
  4. are you talking about a HID conversion kit or just blu painted ulbs with higher wattage? a HID converstion kit should run cooler than the factory halogen right?
  5. Hi Mochec, You are talking about the 99-01 models right? The 02+ models with the updated headlights supposedly are not the same connectors. (Halogen vs. Litronics)... I saw the DIY on this forum, but it looks kinda complicated & I dont think its complete.
  6. So if the headlamps are upgraded to the litronics ones with the ballast attached to it, how do you wire the new plmp? Dont we need a new headlight socket too?
  7. nobody seems to have a definate answer to this question.. I would like to know too.. aftermarket option would be good because it is cheaper.. I did get quaoted $4000 for factory headlamps & harnesses that would to the trick supposedly, but that is too much $$$
