  3. Loren I did review the DYI in the forum but there was no mention of approved coolants. I should have searched more extensively. Thx for your response.
  4. I have an '04 C2 and want to start my own maintanence records so I am having the coolant flushed. Can someone comment on whether it is OK to use Audi coolant as they are much closer to me than the dealer. Replies are appreciated.
  5. New bulbs did the trick - old bulbs sure looked ok as far as the filaments.

  7. That's it, but what is a position light? Equal to parking light? Just took passenger side out and bulb was good, do these bulbs work in tandem, as in if one is out so is the other?
  8. Starting the day with dumb question. In the headlight assembly there is a small bulb in the upper outside corner. Is this a parking light bulb? Dealer salesman told me my '04 C2 didn't have front parking lights (bs?), seamed odd to me. Both bulbs are not working. While I am in there any other bulb to upgrade to maybe silverstar? Thx for replies.

  10. I reviewed threads on this forum as there are many PSE topics covered. The part # I found mentioned by Loren is 000-044-200-21, but when I look it up on pelican site it appears to have an extra 3rd tube that exists to something instead of two like some I have seen on eBay I am trying to locate the driver side PSE and one dismantler (Oklahoma foriegn) has one but he can't locate a part # on it and I want to be sure it's the correct one. Loren can you offer some insight to this?

Thx Logray, that list will be a great resource, I did speak with Gary at Oklahoma Foreign, and he has one from an '04 996, but didn't have the donor car's VIN and there was no decernable part number on it, but it is an Eisemann PSE muffler. Would the Rt side look similar to the Lt? Diagram would be helpful if anyone has one available. Thx for all the input.
  12. For who knows what reason I only have the PSE muffler on the passenger side. Dealer who didn't sell it to me says car wasn't hit. Maybe Loren knows if an '04 C2 that came with the factory option verified with option code, only had one side but I tend to doubt it. Very peculiar indeed.
  13. Need a PSE driver side muffler for an '04 C2, figured I'd call around. New one is $3200! Anyone know a few places I can call? Thx
  14. Thx for all replies, not sure how to evaluate "major suckin". It wasn't difficult to remove the filler cap, just a bit harder to twist off. Any other ways to determine AOS if going south on me?
  15. I know I read somewhere that with the car started and you remove the oil filler cap it is difficult (a little) to do as the pressure wants to such the cap on. Just cant recall if this is normal or indicative of something no so good??
  16. Here's the stupid ? of the day. Trying to remove the air cleaner for cleaning and I cant seem to remove the MAF. What part of the connector do you squeze to remove it (side, back ??) Just doesn't seem to want to come off - certainly don't want to break it.
  17. I was the part about the engine mount oozing fluid if in need of replacement. Is this noticeable from inside the car or from underneath? I have been wondering about my '04 w/56k miles on it and wether to replace them although car sits correctly from what I can see. Comments appreciated. Thx

  20. Update on my journey to get the PSE working. Spoke with someone who mentioned that he has heard that due to moisture in the mufflers that level can rust from the inside making it immoveable. Other than a PB plaster soaking and slight hammer taping from the outside anyone have any ideas on how to free it up?
