  1. I use 3m perfect it 2 but only for deep scratches using a yellow pad on the PC. SMR is another 3m product that is great too.
  2. hard to do? It's incredibly easy! You just need an allen socket and a catch pan. A highly recommended tool is a pump that screws onto the containers and pumps it into the side case - pump until full approx 3L.
  3. I used a turkey baster, along with the magneitc catch deal to bleed brakes. it was super cheeap and it sticks to the hub- :)
  4. Yeah that is what I surmounted it went over one revolution in the bumps denoting underdampening.
  5. Mine were worn at about 30k. The car was underdamped at that point, but I do drive the car hard 75% of the time.
  6. Dunno it is the stuff in the picture but I can say that it shifts better than it ever has both cold and hot.
  7. Hey Loren can you please give me some feedback or suggestion on the differences of the fluid? I don't want to damage anything and will want to remedy the sitiauation asap. Thanks Sean
  8. Maybe it is not recommended because of the need to change it more frequently? If that is simply the case then I will leave it in because it is that much nicer. Assuming it's ok what is the change interval? Thanks
  9. Is there a way to check? I got it from autogallery and that is what they use and recommend for the gt3. I really do like the results of the use btw, but now you have me scared about possible damage or lack of protection?
  10. I'll get my father to take a picture of the container it came in if it's still around
  11. it is a 75/90 and I am already familiar with what you are professing as it is in Loren's DIY. I am just stating what I picked up and used, and it seems to me to be far superior that what came in the car and better than the off the shelf mobile 1 of the same weight.
  12. Sure. However after I took my car in to get my ehem, header bolts drilled and tapped out. It appears that I didn't trim the front sensors short enough and it might be the stoptech sensors which are chewed and are bad, so I don't know if I will have a set until I replace the new front sensors to see if the light is still on. As I checked the rears with a meter I think I might not have anything for you, but I will let you know.
  13. I am pretty sure it was castrol. I got it straight from the dealer after I asked for gt3 tranny fluid because I was concerned about my lsd. It is better than anything I have used in it fwiw.
  14. Hey Loren, btw I picked up the factory castrol from the dealer and used it for the fill. As I used the off the shelf mobile 1 previously I can say there is a noticeable difference in the shift quality especially when hot and somewhat when cold. I would go with the factory fill again over the off the shelf mobile 1. I also picked up enough to do 2 changes though :) The dealer threw in a few liters for free as it was the end of the container :)
  15. Sure it will just have to be after finals are over which is maybe a month away before I will have time to tackle it. I might to is sooner but can't say for sure.
  16. I had to cut and splice some old sensors for my stoptech sensors. I replaced the old fronts in the rear, and the **** light is on, I tested the sensors and they seemed good but there was .1 variance between the two. I will probably replaced them pretty soon and I can send you the old ones to hack up if you want, however I don't know how soon that will be. The sensors themselves aren't that expensive, but it does seem wasteful to chop us a set now already dead :)
  17. I will try that after I get the bolts back. thanks. I did play with the pressures but I didn't go that low- thanks.
  18. So I had the bearings replaced and it still makes noise. BTW the bearings didn't spin perfectly so maybe not a bad idea replacing them anyways. What could be making this noise? The tires? I was told that my fronts were cupped would that do it? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. BTW I am going to make the dealer refund me for 111 bucks for the misdiagnosis.
  19. Pretty cool but that setup must have a lot of noise as the power cable is run with the RCA's a big No No!
  20. Well I am trying to get an appointment at a dealer locally here. I called autogallery- nothing till wednesday. I have put calls into rusnak and bh porsche and am awaiting calls back. Anyone have any further suggestions for getting it in asap? Thanks
  21. Well nothing worked. I even tried an easy out and still nothing as they're in there that great that I broke the easy out. I will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I threw on the headers with the bolts available and to the torq spec and it was leaking but not too bad. I am undecided on whether I will have it flatbedded or drive it down there- 15min drive
  22. thanks I will have my dad fetch a set. As of right now at least I have the stoptechs done gt3 ducts done hubs done rear brakes done and am waiting for a 10mm flare wrench to put on the rear stainless lines then I will fill with srf bleed all around and then start tackling those header bolts!
