I recently purchased a 2004 turbo with around 50k miles, the price was right even if I have to replace the coolant pipes but I am trying to determine if they were done yet. I bought a usb cable inspection camera to try and see down there, but i'm not 100% sure what i'm really looking for/at the video is pretty shaky, and i'm not even sure i got what would be needed to see, but do you think these are plastic or aluminum?
I recently purchased some used radiator air ducts for my 2006 C2S. The airducts looked great and no broken clips in the photo and when I spoke to the seller. However when the air ducts arrived some of the clips where you slide the air ducts onto the radiator were broken. I did see where the seller tried to tape them up to protect them so I can't blame the seller. The post office I can blame. Well has anyone ever repaired their air ducts clips? If so how did you do it? Bodyshop maybe? plastics fabricator? I hate to have to buy two more of these. ocmacman
Hello to all, I am looking for a part for my right headlight. It's the plastic chrome looking oval plug that sits in the middle of a 2002 911 headlight assembly. It snaps in and out easily, but, the plastic prongs on the back of mine broke. I've attached a few pix to show what I'm talking about. It is stamped as part number 153 034-00, however, that doesn't seem to come up with anything when I search. I've made some calls and people seem to only want to sell this piece with the entire headlight assembly--which is obviously a pricey fix. Does anyone know the name of this piece? Does anyone know where to find a replacement? Thanks in advance! DK
