...Any one have a PST2 in CT/NY

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have access to a PST2 that I can use to enable the OBC and cruise on my 04 Boxster S?

I have tried two local OPCs and their PIWIS with no joy even with the detailed instructions from here, so maybe its locked out.

So if anyone can help with a PST2 that would be great.

Nick

I tried two different OPC's while trying to turn on my OBC. To their credit, both OPC's wnted to help! Both used PIWIS's.....with copies of threads from this site and the 9X6 Werks DVD. The technician at the second OPC, after fiddling around, on the clock, for a half an hour, drug out a PST2. In 5 minutes, he had the OBC turned on. It may be that the technicians aren't as capable "ad libbing" with the PIWIS as they are with the PST2. (It's been suggested that this isn't a task taught at Porsche technician school.) If you are ever in S.E. Pennsylvania, stop by Holbert's Porsche in Warrington. They still have a PST2.

Cheers

Bill

Nick, send me an email. There's a tech session in CT on Saturday, 20+ Boxsters, come along and get it all sorted out... :)

Chris.
