I just acquired a 1999 996 C4 Cab. I have a 2002 owner's manual, but want to know if there are any significant differences in the two that justify getting the 1999 manual. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the instrument cluster is different, as well as radio and nav systems.

Try the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) - I think the last owners manual I got from them was about $18.

Apparently they are out of print and dealer network is empty. Is there a difference in OBD display and functionality with 2000? I can get a 2000 manual.

Or is anyone willing to fax the OBD pages of the 199 manual? If so, fax is 503-225-0009. Thanks.
