I've recently bought a 1997 2.5 Boxster. The dealer had a new rear window fitted by a trimmer local to him who apparently has replaced many of these.

They are not local to me and i've noticed that the canvas does not fit correctly behind the 'b' post for want of a better word. It is behind it at the top section but after it passes the hinge point the fabric fits to the outside of the post as it curves to the botom of the hood.

If someone guides the material behind the post as the roof raises it goes behind but leaves a gap between itself and the post which seems an ideal area for water to get in.

Should i be trying to adjust something.
